Teeny tiny
My baby is 51st percentile and grew out of these bands at 8-9 pounds and before 2 months old. These should really be marketed as newborn size.

Limited sizes, great camera
Love the nanit sooo much but very limited in their sizes! I don’t know why they aren’t making breathing bands that go above 20lbs. My 3 month old son is 16 lbs and we won’t get much more wear out of them at this rate. Disappointing as I really rely on the breathing technology for peace of mind. Unsure if I would buy again due to this.

Pointless
The bands were too small by the time my daughter was 8 1/2 lbs. Also, if you swaddle your newborn, which most do to prevent the startle reflex, they’re unusable. You cannot use these with a swaddle or sleep sackI had the one that came with the Nanit and purchased three more before my daughter arrived.I tried to use one at two weeks of age and she had out grown it.All four are now in a landfill. I saw too many unused ones online to justify reselling or donating.

Constant false alarms
These bands set off constant false alarms on our Nanit. We got the Nanit camera in hopes of avoiding the high EMF ratings on other wearables via these swaddles and bands. The camera is average at best. I’ve yet to gleam anything from the camera “insights”. I was really hoping for peace of mind with the wearables, but instead I’m actually losing MORE sleep with the false alarms 2-3 times per night. My son is three weeks and a little peanut (just shy of 7 lbs) and I don’t think he’s big enough for the camera to register him breathing with these patterns. I can hear him breathing so I know it’s not him.
