Two ways to wear
Youth bras are a struggle to find the right fit. Go to a store first. Try on all types. This one s purchased after we found this was the preferred bra. That said the bra straps seem to be either too tight or too loose for her. It has a great feature that allows for a racer back.

Great bra once you figure out sizing ๐
My tween loves this bra. Itโs soft, and comfortable enough that she has slept in it. It looks exactly like the grown up version of the devotion Maidenform bra with the same material used. Once I figured out the sizing it fit her perfectly. She had an old tween Maidenform bra with a 28โ strap I used for reference, and then I measured her current rib and cup sizes. The current rib cage size was 28โ and the cup area was 33โ. I then looked at the sizing guide for Maidenform and I figured that a 36โ bra strap would fit and luckily it it did. I was able to figure this because her old Maidenform at 28โ was too tight and I added a few inches based on other reviews. So, I would say that you definitely need to size up on this bra. Maidenform needs a better sizing guide for first time buyers. Otherwise, youโll end up buying several sizes to figure it out.***Also, it would be great if Maidenform created a nude color bra and other skin color bras for girls of all cultures who have varying skin tones***

Well made bra, great material but straps far too short
I've recently lost some weight and my normal bras (all from Aerie by American Eagle) don't fit as well and are a bit more hollow in the cups now. I've been wearing nothing but sports bras and bralettes with removable pads and miss the ease of snap closure bras for lazy days. I'm 5'1", 90Ibs and went from 34A to 30-32A band sizing. It's been very frustrating finding bras in the womens department for my itty bitty small chest and Aerie carries nothing but wired bras and thin lace bralettes that can get very uncomfortable/itchy with long wear. I decided to venture into the young teens bra section on Amazon in hopes that with my new smaller chest I can find a comfortable, light weight everyday bra. I was unsure of how sizing works for younger girls bra for a woman's body frame and went with the size chart after measuring my under bust. I originally ordered these in a size 32A and it was far too small on me. I ordered 36A and while the band fit me perfectly, the straps were too short making the cups sit far too high on my chest. The material and construction of this bra is well made. I decided to return them as the strap hurt my shoulders on the longest adjustment. I ordered another Maidenform girls bra (the triangle racerback) which has comfortable long straps. So bummed that these did not work for me as I am having a hard time finding comfortable black bra that gives nice coverage for my embarrassing "headlights" without adding too much bulk to my chest. These would definitely be terrific for growing young girls though!
