Does third monitor on a NucBox, just like it should. I'm not gaming or doing more than std HD, so it's got pretty light duty by today's standards, but it works perfectly. No lag, tearings, or aberrations of any kind, even when playing video. If you have 4/8k or do high frame rates I have no idea how this cable will work.

I just switched from a 2012 iMac to a new 2019 iMac. I had two VGA monitors attached to the 2012 iMac, and I wanted to attached them to my new iMac. The old iMac connection was via a Mini DisplayPort (into the iMac Thunderbolt 2 port) to DVI Cable (into the back of the VGA monitor). Since the new iMac had no Thunderbolt 2 connection - now replaced by Thunderbolt 3 connection, I guessed I could insert a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter at the end of my Thunderbolt 2 cable and all would be well. Wrong. I used a KEEZING USB-C to Mini DisplayPort, Type C (Thunderbolt 3) to Mini DisplayPort Adapter boiught on Amazon. Didn 't work at all.so I bought this new cable - works great. No ptoblems.

Works perfectly! I'm connecting an old HP monitor to a new (2024) MacBook Pro. Had zero issues connecting. Hooked up the wires and it worked right away.

The cable works perfectly with my base model M4 Mac mini. It is plugged into one of the rear thunderbolt ports. Plug and play. The Mac recognized the monitor right away.

Out of the box, this worked seamlessly and perfectly with a second monitor my new M2 Mac Mini . But after 6 months I began seeing some intermittent flickering on the 2nd monitor. After a few days, this worsened, the image scrambled, and the monitor became unusable. Troubleshooting, I swapped the monitors just to make sure it wasn't a monitor problem, and then tried another USB port just to be sure it wasn't a port problem. The problem remained, and having eliminated everything else, it had to be the cable. Today I received the more expensive Cable Matters USB C to DVI Cable and my monitor is back to working beautifully.
