Medical and Technical Advance
Well researched and well written by the leader in his field of study. This book is full of information pertinent to every age group. Anyone who wants to know how today's trends may impact your life by 2030 should read this book.

A Great Discussion Starter
The author provides lots of historical trend evidence to support his 2030 predictions. Like any predictions, there are lots of people who will disagree with him. One prediction that is causing lots of emotional discussion is his projection that women will have more than 50% of the world's wealth by 2030. That's only 9 years from now and the gut reaction, when you consider who are the wealthiest people now, is that it isn't possible. One area that doesn't get much attention is education. In the midst of the virus crisis, more learning is taking place remotely and that isn't likely to end even when the crisis is over. Add in artificial intelligence and it'll not only change how we learn, but what we learn.Overall a worthwhile read. Who doesn't want to know what changes are coming?

Great read
Easy to read and really interesting. The information might look like facts but I enjoy when somebody talks about the facts in front of my face that I know it but don’t pay attention at the same time. This book will show you small changes that’s happening under the skin of communities and slow changes that become tomorrow’s reality.

an inspirational book with great hindsight
this is might be the most insightful and practical futurist book i have ever read, although 2030 is more imminent than we see.the author lists the megatrends, lateral and explict in the making , such as demographic shift between US,Europe and even China to Africa;stagnant middle class in the developed countries versus the fast upswing ones in China, India and ultimately Africa and the most interesting one is the mushrooming gray population in the developed economies and China. All these trends shape our world in 2030,politically and economically.Highly recommended

Nothing earth-shattering in this book
The book is fairly easy to read, but it's hardly more than a compilation of anecdotal observations. In many respects, it sort of rambles on from thought to thought. In my view, it never answers "how today's biggest trends will collide and reshape the future of everything", as the title suggests. This is one of those books that strikes me as "seminar fodder", the sort of thing you buy after the presenter has worked his audience.

Buy this book!!!!
Great insight into the world as a whole and future of humanity globally without politics. We need to think globally not nationally if we want the earth to be there for our children, this book takes a deep dive into almost every aspect of our lives. I cannot wait to reread it in 2030 and see how accurate the projections are.

easy to read and understand, informative
I purchased this book after taking Guillen's online class on global trends. The book contains most of the same data that is presented in the online class but has a lot more anecdotal commentary which makes the book seem a little less scholarly. In spite of this most people will find some information about global trends that will interest or surprise them.

Great Book
Really enjoying this book. Time to get ready for the gray economy. Also heard the author interviewed on a recent podcast about the book. You can watch on legacy-dna.com. I'm sure it will make you want to learn more.
