This ice mat is AMAZING! It stays cold for a very long time. I've used it for 2 hours straight and it is still cool after that amount of time. I am ordering a second one so that I can have one ready at all times. This helps with my significant back pain, which spans from the top of my spine all the way to my buttocks. It helps to relieve the intense muscle spasms that plague me all throughout the day. I also bought a couple other ice pack products by this same brand, which includes the one that wraps around the hip ( I also wrap that one around my shoulder to relieve spasms in the scapular region), and the one that is used with a belt to wrap around the waist for lower back pain. Great quality as well!

This stays beside me in bed, so I can pull it over when a hot flash hits. I've never needed to freeze it, it is cool enough as long as it's not absorbing body heat. If I fall asleep with it on me, it will be warm if needed later. Can try flipping it over. It's somewhat cooler, but still not as useful after being against my skin for a while.

After purchasing multiple ice packs from various drug stores and being disappointed in their sizes and coverage. I found this particular ice pack and I am extremely happy with the back coverage that this ice pack gives me.Just recently having broken my back and having spinal fusion, icing my back is extremely important.This ice pack stays cold longer than any other ice pack I have tried.I wish I had found this ice pack years ago before I spent time and money on mediocre ice packs.It folds up nicely so that I can put it back in my freezer.I highly recommend this particular product for anyone who needs to ice an injury or surgical site.

The directions on the Amazon site say you can use as hot or cold. The instruction pamphlet and the package itself.... says .....DO NOT put in hot water or a microwave.It also, on the instruction pamphlet provided, state to strap it in with the strap provided. No strap was included.I live in a hot climate so I use ice pkgs regularly. This looks to be good quality and is not bulky so I'm sure it will fit my needs. But the Amazon write up is not correct in that it states Hot or Cold.

I got this for myself at night but my dog wanted to try it out first... He loved it! I may have to order another one for myself!!

Love this extra large ice pack. I use this on a very regular basis. It’s large enough to cover my lower and mid back. I only wish that it stayed colder longer. I have sent this to friends and family members who love it too.

I have had these for just over 30 days and both pads have popped. Complete waste of money go with the Revix pads instead.I’ve been warming them in the microwave for 1 min, as the directions say. One of them popped almost immediately, in the microwave for about a minute and 15 seconds. ( I didn’t realize there was already time left on the microwave from a previous use. So that one is my fault…I guess.. ). So I have been using only one of the pads most mornings, for about three weeks. that one popped this morning at 45 seconds in the microwave. I guess the seams are very flimsy and weak and over a few weeks of heating gave out. And I can’t find a way to contact the seller. So save your money and go with a different brand that is more sturdy.
