GROSS STABIL GRZ 20 SuperGrip 200 Millimeter Jaw Capacity Gripping Plier

I find these great for welding fabrication. The tension, or force with which items are gripped requires a wrench for adjustment, but since I'm working with non crush able items it only involves setting it initially. I find that I can set the jaws wide apart and in one motion flip the clamp upright and onto a surface, letting the adjustable jaw slide down the bar under gravity and then lock the clamp all with one hand (takes a bit of practice and dexterity). This is very helpful when working alone and using your other hand to hold things in alignment.

I had watched Norm for many years use these. I had never been able to find a pair. When I did, I ordered two. GREAT TOOL! I had always used one of the rachet clamps but this is 100x better. Wouldn't tarde 'em for any other. If you find one, buy it or a pair. You won't regret it.

I received the GRZ 20 and they are just like everyone described, Strong, Heavy Duty, Great holding power. If your a serious wood worker these clamps are not for you. They leave indention from the hard plastic that slide on the gripping jaws. You can adjust the tension but then you don't have the holding power. I contacted Bessey and they told me these were made for metal working. I like the design and wish they had soft rubber over the gripping jaws. I gave them a 5star rating because they are well built and work like they are designed to. I hope you find this information helpful. Thanks

Certainly as good as the Bessey. Same specs and I think it is made by Bessey. It came in a Bessey box and Bessey is on the tool. I think it may be discontinued, the reason for the low price? If you want that type of tool , buy it.

I have not had any issues with these clamps to date. They are solid and hold well. I would recommend to anyone.
