Good for hip injuries, too
I have a hip injury that was really bad a few years ago...then I did several months of physical therapy, and then it still took A WHILE to feel completely back to normal. I managed to re-aggravate the injury several weeks ago (maybe months now), and it feels as bad as it ever did. I could not sit in my computer chair for any period of time. Queue the internet search! I found these "kneeling chairs" and proceeded to watch an unreasonable number of videos and read and unreasonable number of reviews about them. I decided on this chair. It arrived and I put it together almost all by myself. My core muscles are almost nonexistent and this chair forces "active sitting" so yes, YES, it did take an adjustment period for me to get used to it. What I mean is - the first day wasn't all that comfortable. Each day got progressively easier. It's like you have to "learn" how to sit like this. I guess I've had it for about 2 weeks now, and I can sit in it all day (desk job) with almost no pain. I have to get up and walk around for breaks every now and then, but you are supposed to do that anyway no matter what type of chair you sit in. There are 3 positions on this chair for the knee pad, and you can't keep changing it (easily). You have to pick the position that it right for you during assembly. The height of the seat is easily adjustable, but the knee pad position is not. That being said, I am 5'2 and with very short legs. I had to put the knee pad in the top position, putting it closest to the seat. It seems to be fine though. The cushions look very cushy, but they really aren't, in my opinion. However, in my case, that's actually not a bad thing. Before this thing arrived, I had figured out that I couldn't sit in cushioned chairs AT ALL. The only chairs I could sit in (for even short periods of time) without being in excruciating pain were very flat, hard-bottomed chairs. I was sitting in a wooden dining room chair instead of my computer chair, for work. I don't know why...

Not comfortable. Don't waste your money.
I had one of these styles of chairs as a teen and loved it. I was excited to get approval to purchase one for work. If I sit correctly on the seat, my knees are at the very edge of the knee pad. If I sit so my shins are on the kneeling pad, I'm on the lower edge of the seat, I've adjusted it a dozen times. Apparently my legs are just too short. (I'm 5'4") Also, the padding is a joke. Because I sit higher on the seat, all the padding on the lower edge of the knee pad has been crushed and the resulting bruises to my shins are amazing. My knees and hips ache all the time. Also, no matter where the locking wheels were placed, I kept kicking them and accidentally locking them. Not great as I roll around my office constantly. I replaced the wheels with a different set (correctly measured to fit) and they keep coming unscrewed and one of the wheels just pops off at random. I now keep my toolset in my office to fix my chair at least once a week. 0-stars. Do not recommend. I'll be replacing it with a regular gamer chair and a lumbar pillow from home.

This chair is not great for tall people!
I really wanted this chair to work out for my husband. He suffers from back pain and needed a kneeling chair so that he didn't always have to stand. Sitting hurts for him. Unfortunately, this chair was built for short people. He is 6 feet tall and it just was not comfortable for him. If you're going to be meeting a kneeling chair, at had better be comfortable! I will say that the customer service was very good. We decided to return the chair which meant we had to take it apart and re-box it. It was extremely heavy, but the seller provided a return label which helped tremendously. I should also add that set up and assembly was pretty easy. So it might be worth trying this chair to see if it works for you and if necessary, know that the seller will work with you for a fairly easy return.

Good chair but needs improvements
I really wanted to like this chair. I had high hopes for it and gave it two days but in the end the knee support just wasn't comfortable. Assembly was very easy probably one of the easiest chairs I've every put together. A couple things I didn't like about the chair: 1. The manual height adjustment - At the back of the chair is a manual twist to adjust the height of the chair. This made it hard to get it at the right height and every time I needed to adjust it I would have to get up and twist up or down. It was hard to gage how much I needed it adjusted. When assembling there are three screws for height, I'm 5'8" I used the tallest setting. 2. The knee pad - After one day of being on the chair the pad had visible wear and shrank down. This is where most of my discomfort came from. I had to keep adjusting to get comfortable and my shins would be pretty sore after sitting for a while. I couldn't sit in this chair for more than an hour and even at an hour my shins were stiff. I did put a small pillow under my shins and this helped a lot but as the day went on there was still a lot of pressure on my shins. What I did like about the chair was the back rest and that the chair forces you to have great upper body posture. It was harder for me to slouch down or slouch my shoulders. So while sitting in this chair my back was straight and shoulders were back. I really wish there was a better knee cushion on this chair and some instructions on how to adjust your chair so there isn't so much pressure on the shins. I could have had some adjustments wrong but I couldn't find anything "for best results" instructions.

Bad design, uncomfortable
Should have listened to the other reviewers who talked about the angle of the seat. It is too steep, which means too much weight is on your shins. Then the back rest is too upright so it shoves you even further forward, making the chair uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes. The wheels are not great either so it is difficult to move around my office. Also it is too low to the ground to find a comfortable foot position. I am only 5’6” but even on the “taller” setting of the three I had to either sploot my feet out on the floor or awkwardly tuck them in and under the back bar. If you are even taller than that I cannot imagine where your legs would go in this chair. Quality of materials and the pads were fine and assembly was easy, but I will be returning this because it will not work for me long term (or even for a day).

ERGONOMIC KNEELING STOOL CHAIR SIX MONTH USE REVIEW
I have been looking for a great chair for my lower back and shoulders, you know the struggle is absolutely real. And with my low back pain the struggle is absolutely real! With all the other ergonomic kneeling chairs I havet tried in the past: COSTWAY, DRAGONN, VIVOR.. I liked this design the most.. so I decided to try it. What I liked about the design was the back rest, the adjustability of the angle of the seat, and the wheels. I tried this chair out hoping it'll help with that. Let me first say that yes, the style of seating is indeed wonderful and does help eliminate the aches you would get from a regular computer/task chair that you found that suits your needs. It's been about SIX MONTHS since I've purchased this and I can say my traditional aches don't happen anymore, but now my feet and knees get sore because there is no resting place for the feet besides the metal and screws constantly hitting them when you try to find a spot to rest. Also don't sit for long hours on this, your tush will ache. Despite its imperfections… I still thinks it’s the best out there for my low back pain and it DOES HELP when seated for short periods..and is an improvement on the traditional chairs I would however make a few recommendations: One being to offer different lengths and thread sizes (allowing more of a range in length) of the support bar that connects the kneeling cushion to the seat cushion to accommodate those with different length legs. Another is to allow the backrest to be more customizable/adjustable as it seems to push me forward a bit too much. Another being to offer the option of better quality and easier rolling castors for more easy movement of the chair. I would be willing to pay the extra money and I am giving this 5 stars as I DO BELIEVE THIS IS THE BEST OPTION OUT THERE..for kneeling chairs. Very good value for money, easy to assemble, seems well built. Adjustable height and cushions are mostly comfortable, . I'm not too sure about the back rest - I thought it would be a good idea but it seems to push me forward if anything. Maybe I need to play with the height settings to get used to it. At worst I can remove it. The bad thing about this is the castors - I'm going to get some decent rubber castors as the cheap plastic ones are total rubbish. I recomend this chair, but buy some decent castors.

A back saver!
I am thoroughly enjoying this kneeling chair. I recently retired and planned to indulge in my video game hobby. Only to find out after three weeks of sitting, my lower back was in intense pain. Standing was the only comfortable position. So I purchased this chair and an adjustable height desk. I stand half the time and now kneel half the time. No more back issues. Please note, I now also perform stretching exercises as part of my ergonomic routine. For info, I am 5’11” and (cough) 230 pounds. The key to using this chair is to remember it is a kneeling chair, not a shinning chair. Get my drift? You plant your knees in the foam pad and you can kneel for long periods of time. DO NOT SUPPORT YOUR WEIGHT ON YOUR SHINS!!!!! You will just have pain. Additionally, while supporting your weight on your knees, you will naturally sit towards the rear of the seat cushion which engages the back support. Reinforcing good posture and a relaxing experience. The chair does arrive needing assembly. The directions are clear, but please lay out all the parts (A-Z) per the parts list or you will have confusion picking the right sized screws for each assembly step. I know you want back relief and a quick assembly, but 10 minutes organizing the parts on a table will make assembly a 20 minute process. When it comes to adjusting for fit, there are three adjustments: 1) below the seat is an adjustment device to raise the seat. Very easy and quick to use. 2) the lumbar support can be slid forward and backwards. It requires loosening 3 screws first, then retightening them. Also easy to perform. 3). The knee pad support arm has three positions. This is more challenging to change. Oh well, such is life.

Leans WAY forwards
I've enjoyed basic kneeling chairs for most of my life. I have one right now but it's old...the padding is worn out. So I thought I'd get a new one but this time one with a back on it. I combed through damned near every chair here on amazon for weeks. I finally settled on this one. It looked comfy, well padded, adjustable, and it had a back on it. My husband and teen daughter took the time to put it together for me before I went to work (this will be for my home office). They each tried it out and then, without knowing they had tried it or whether they liked it, I tried it. Apparently we each had the same response. Once we sat in the chair we were constantly trying to hold ourselves INTO the chair on it's lowest angle setting. It took less than 1 min each for us to say "nope, hated it". They immediately took it apart and we sent it back. Really look at the picture of the woman in the chair - that is the LOWEST ANGLE POSSIBLE and you are actually sitting ON your knees in order to sit on the chair. All weight and pressure on the knees and hips. The back of the chair actually sits about in the middle of the seat, pushing your lower back WAY forward and you end up bending backwards to just stay on the chair. It seemed like a good quality, just unusable design unless you are 18years old and limber as hell. I have since ordered a basic one like the one I've had and look forwards to it. Overall, if you've never tried a kneeling chair, they are quite comfy but not for everyone either.

Good quality and easy assembly.
Comfortable but takes some time to get used to. The construction is good quality. Construction is simple and instructions are easy to follow. There were no bad threads and every screw could be hand tightened and torqued up with the supplied tools.

Sicuramente robusta

Works great. Easy to build. Get it if you NEED it.
It’s a great chair, easy to assemble, took 30-45min. Thought I’d try it after seeing my old boss have one and having some back issues. To be fair I’m going to give my opinion on a kneeling chair in general, because the product works well and serves its purpose but if you haven’t had one and are considering then this is my thoughts on it. I bought it mainly to see if it would help with fixing my back...the answer is yes because my back feels like it’s in a correct position (the back rest helps a lot)...but: - It gets sweaty on your knees when it’s pressed to the leather like that. - You definitely don’t want to be gaming in it too. - Your feet dangle awkwardly so it gets cold if you don’t have slides or socks on (if you’re wfh right now). - You’re also at a higher angle when sitting on it so you gotta make sure your monitor is or can be adjusted to a good angle or you’re just straining your neck and that’s a whole other issue. So overall: product itself works great and serves its purpose for the people in need of it but if you’re just trying it out or you don’t like sitting in leather because of the sweat thing I mentioned, then kneeling chairs aren’t for you.
