This is a Costco brand, so buying it here is going to have a mark-up. Besides that hitch, the batteries have always worked great for us.

KIRKLAND is a top shelf battery
Over on CANDLEPOWERFORUMS.COM which is everything to do with flashlights. There was a study that had KIRKLAND rated in the top.I've bought KIRKLAND for many years now.These are terrific batteries.Tom

They Leak
Bought these in March of 2023, manufacturer claims they have a 7 year shelf life. Not true, the majority of them have leaked and are useless. I had them stored in a plastic container in a hallway closet.

Batteries leaked
I purchased these batteries December of 2022. I’ve had them for less than a year and over that time frame, half of them have leaked and I was unable to use them. I also purchased the AAA batteries at the same time, same brand. They also leaked. I would not recommend buying and Kirkland batteries in bulk unless you are going to use them quite quickly.
