Personally I purchased it as a gift for a trainee firefighter, but as a children’s book it looks good and would have been one I read to my son when he was young

Fab interactive book

We really like this book. My 2 year's old daughter enjoys lift the flaps. I noticed she likes get dressed the firefighter, slide down the pole, turn on the sirens and rescue the cat. It is the great book for toddlers!

Some children are fascinated by roles such as firefighters, and this would be an ideal pre school book for those children, helping to develop language and interest in books. Each page has a flap to be turned, as the simple story uncovers what happens when a fire fighter goes out, in this case, to rescue a cat stuck in a tree. Children will enjoy turning the flaps and through it will gain both an understanding of the role and help develop language and word recognition.

Lovely interactive book, looks exactly how I expected.

The media could not be loaded. Great interactive book about a day in the life of a firefighter. I got this for my 5 year old, I feel he may already be a bit too old for it. Although he loves it and wants the rest of the series.He enjoys opening the flaps to interact and change what’s happening on the page and is able to read the story by himself.Each page, apart from one has an interactive element such as the firefighter slides down a pole or the sirens of the fire engine turn on.The cardboard flaps are of good quality card as are the book pages. However I unsure how long the flaps will last with constant opening and closing but that’s the nature of these type books.
