It works very well and makes it easy to pour the oil into the pan as needed. Love that it is stainless steel with snug fitting top to better preserve the oil. It may leak if knocked over, but the inner design allows it to drain back into the container if you upright it right away. A good buy for us.

This will be my first less than 4-5 star review. For the asking price I find this oil decanter substandard. The hinge for the lid was off keel and we could see that eventually it would break and the top not going to last. I will stay with the Italian products from now on.

I bought the product named 'silver' priced at $23.69. Overall I am very happy with it.PROS:- Did a lot of research for so called "drip-free" oil dispensers and here are my thoughts. The true test is not whether it drips or not. All liquids will drip, no matter how the spout is designed. The question is will the dripped oil go back into the dispenser or will it slide down the outer walls, messing up the dispenser along with whatever is beneath it? I am pleased to report that so far I have found the design of this dispenser, especially the positioning of the spout such that it returns the oil back to the dispenser without sliding down the outer wall. End result, no messy dispenser or kitchen counter.- The dispenser is sturdy looking, no seams on the body (unlike some other reviews - makes me wonder if they received a different product). The steel appears to be of good quality - has a brushed steel like appearance, does not seem flimsy or cheap looking. The cover and handle are sturdy too.- The rubber gasket around the spout keeps the spout in place when the dispenser is tilted.SUGGESTED IMPROVEMENTS:- The opening where oil drains back into the container has slightly sharp edges - it would help to smoothen out that area more. It's not too bad if one is careful while washing.- The dispenser size is good for my needs, though a larger size option would be nice to avoid frequent refills.- It's a tad expensive for this size - a price point closer to $15 would be more appropriate. This is the reason for the 4 stars.I will keep using this dispenser and if I come across anything else worth mentioning, will certainly do so.

The design of the bottle is good. Works as expected, however, upon first wash, the lid broke down. The rivets or welds or cheap glue, whatever that was holding the lid to the lever just came right off. That is unacceptable, because without the lever, the lid is not even a tad snug on the bottle. Without a lid, the bottle is now near useless.

I like that it has a lid and easy to clean.

This container holds a good amount of oil for cooking, it does not leak, pours easily and the hinged cap protects the contents. I have owed many different containers over the years and this is my favorite so far.
