Q: Can you press the pairing button though the case? Or do you have to remove it to pair or open to check battery?

No you cannot press the pairing button through the case. You are able to see the light through the case but no access to the button without taking off the case.

Q: I put mine on backwards, how do I take it off?

Just plug the AirPods in and use the base of the plug to hold the AirPods case steady. Then push up and the AirPods will slowly slide out of the case. Mine did this with not much bother and it was easy to just slide the case back on again afterwards.

Q: will the navy blur case match my an apple Navy blue silicon case for my iPhone 12 Pro Max?

The blue of our case is darker.
