Indispensible running kit for the bespectacled
This is my fourth GUTR and it is the perfect solution for running while wearing glasses. Fourth GUTR but first with the elasticated strap at the back rather than the elastic bands as pictured. There is a point of weakness and my previous GUTRs have all broken around the aperture for the arm of the glasses. I have a feeling this new elasticated fitting will mean that this one lasts longer. There is less tension on the strap and I can adjust it more easily so it should stretch so much when putting it on or taking it off. With permanent double vision, I can't run without glasses and the GUTR holds them firmly in place. I sweat a lot and the GUTR works well to direct that sweat away from my eyes.I have a fair bit of running gear, but the one piece that I cannot live without is the GUTR.

100% effective.
Made from soft rubber/plastic - extremely comfortable - adjustable to the Nth degree - channels the perspiration to the side of the head stopping it dripping into my eyes - easy to clean (I use washing up liquid). Would recommend to any runner, except those who glow elegantly, rather than those like me who sweat buckets!

I found it pretty effective
We're in the middle of a heatwave in the UK and my eyes always sting from sweat dripping into my eyes whilst mountain biking so I thought this would be a good idea. It works and sweat does gutter along and then drip down to the side of my eyes. I wear a helmet with sunglasses too so this product does not impede either of those with the gutter sitting just beneath the helmet. When I get home and take it off I do have an imprint on my skin where the Gutr sat. It would look a bit odd in the pub during a mid ride break but lets be honest if you're clad in lycra then you're more concerned about functionality than appearance. I may have it too tight but I've just it for about five rides now and haven't bothered to loosen it off. It's well made and I know there's cheaper similar products out there but the assembly quality of this is good and I suspect much better than the cheap replicas, the stitching and the strapping system are areas where companies could cut corners, so that is where the extra money is going here.Of course it doesn't get drenched like most headbands and helmet pads so you don't have to stop to squeeze it out, or take an extra dry headband as some people do. Overall pretty please with it. It may perhaps be too constricting for some but experiment with the tension. I think the very small discomfort of having something else close to your body is offset by the blinding and stinging sweat continuously dripping into my eyes. I'll continue to wear it for this reason.

Nothing better for the role
The most effecitve device for doing what it does: keeping sweat out of one's eyes. Neither cheap, nor easy to obtain, however, which is perplexing.

its OK but doesn't stop all the sweat.
No problem with supplier. Quick delivery and easy to order through Amazon. Pleasant and courtious communications too.The SweatGUTR works reasonably well and directs sweat from the top of the head and forehead away from the eyes. However, due to where it is worn some sweat which forms below eyebrow level still drips into your eyes and causes a problem although this is much reduced by the headband. If during sport you sweat excessively then this may not be the cure you seek in preventing sweat in your eyes but it can reduce it to some extent. I suppose if used with a ruff or bandana it may be more effective. I haven't tried this combination yet to see if it is effective.Product quality is good and is confortable to wear. Its thin and unobtrusive too. The only other down side is the relatively high cost for something which wasn't really that effective for me.

It works!
Effective for directing sweat away from eyes and glasses. For me, wearing the GUTR under the helmet was the best position

Still looks like new after 4 years
Bought to manage sweat while on turbo trainer. Used several times a week for last 4 years and it still looks like new.It works well to stop sweat going into your eyes fairly effectively.I don’t wear it so tight it leaves a mark. I did have to double up the loop at the back - as seen in photo as it’s too big otherwise and my head is a, not abnormally large, 58cm.The only downside is the occasional flow of if I tilt my head - but that’s what the mats for.It seems expensive but so much better than a fabric sweatband (I tried a couple of material types before getting this one) and lasts ages so probably good value.I haven’t often worn it with a helmet on. It works but I found I had to keep adjusting it and the pads in my helmet are usually sufficient.

Works pretty well.
I'm very sweaty while cycling and thios does help to keep out out of my eyes. But it's not that comfortable and looks a bit odd.I regularly use Halo bandanas and find they do a pretty good job of reducing sweat in my eyes and keeping my head cooler.
