Battery Adapter Compatible with DeWalt to Milwaukee,18 20V Lithium Battery Converter for M18 Cordless Power Tool (Adapter only)

I had a dewalt drill that died on me but multiple batteries. I then was given a Milwaukee drill with 1 battery. I bought this device to take advantage of my many dewalt batteries. The adapter worked great on both ends. Some of my dewalt batteries are knock off ones and they fit just fine. The dewalt uses an m18 battery and this worked great.

Great product. I use mostly DeWalt tools, but I won't give up my Milwaukee drill. Now I don't have to carry multiple chargers and batteries

Still working and ive put all battery sizes in it including flex volt 8amp 60v and it worked perfect.

A friend gave me an M18 oscillating tool, knowing I used Milwaukee and Dewalt. But he didn't know the only Milwaukee I own is M12. Ordered this to use my dewalt batteries with the tool, and it works great!Cons - makes the tool slightly longer, but not much.Pros - allows me to use what I already have instead of buying the most expensive part of any power tool, the batteries and charger.Saw some reviews that it didn't hold onto the tool very well. But after a few weeks of use, thankfully I have not had that issue. I have a wood shop and am not a contractor so while I do use it weekly, it isn't used as hard as some might.

I bought this solely because I wanted to use my Dewalt batteries in a newly purchased Milwaukee 0880-20 vacuum, simply because Dewalt cordless vacuums are not as highly regarded, and I didn't want to jump on to another battery platform. I was skeptical that this adapter would work because I saw a user may have mentioned that this doesn't work in a Milwaukee vacuum. However, since it was rather inexpensive, I was ready to modify this thing to make it work. To my surprise, this worked right out of the box. The looks and feel is decent; not extremely rugged, but not horribly bad. I would say for the price, this is a good purchase. For anyone looking for an adapter for that vacuum, this is the one.
