Worked fine but check the connector
I installed the part to fix the tE error and initially didn’t work. My tE error was originally intermittent, and after installing the new thermistor the tE just stayed on.As it turns out, one of the two wires that run to the connector from the main panel was loose in the connector. I wound up having to remove the connectors from both the lead and the thermistor and strip / crimp wires together (one is white and one is blue). Need to insulate with shrink tubing. Keep track of which is which. Take pictures before you cut the connectors.Check your thermistor if you have a multi tester. Set to ohms and it should read around 40,000 (40k) if it is good. If your thermistor is good, the problem in all likelihood is a lose blue or white wire in the connector. One more note - I accessed this easily by tipping the washer back and working from the bottom, versus complete disassembly of the unit. Also, for ten bucks I’d suggest buying a thermistor before your start digging around so you have it if you need it.

fixed a long standing annoyance
We put up with a TE error from our washer for at least three years, which is too bad because replacing this took less than a half hour (not including watching the youtube video). The part was a like for like replacement and easy as could be. Do search for the video; you do NOT have to disassemble the washer to do this, you just have to tip it backwards safely then easily access the part from underneath. Replaced it months ago and haven't seen the problem since.

Worked Like Charm
This product was the same fit as my LG part and was really easy to swap out once I got th washer lifted. I was having an issue where my washing machine was stopping mid cycle giving me an FE error code and leaving the load full of water. After watching several YouTube videos I decided to order the part and hope for the best. The biggest piece of advice I can give you is that if you have the LG storage bin connected to your washer underneath like mine, it makes the job much much harder and you will need at least two people or a very strong older brother. You'll also need a VERY THIN WRENCH set, Without one this becomes an expert level job or a Pain in the rear. I borrowed a double sided bike wrench from a friend of mine and it was a life saver. if you need to remove the foot high bottom bin you CANNOT do It without thin wrenches so do yourself a favor and order some or one specific to this machine.

Fixed my TE (Upside down F and E) error code.
The product fixed the error code on my LG washer model WM2277HS. It was easily installed by tipping the machine back enough to access from underneath. The YouTube videos showed removing the whole front of the machine, but I found that it was not necessary. The only tools I needed were a flashlight and a cutter to remove a zip tie holding the wire in place and a replacement zip tie. About 15 minutes to replace. As a note, I did have an issue with water in the drum that I needed to remove before replacing the part. I used the Rinse/Spin cycle to drain the water. Turned the water supplies off started the cycle and turned the machine off after the drain was finished. I needed to do this 4 or 5 times to drain all of the water. I hope this is helpful.

works great. Just tilt the Tromm
I was getting the TE error on my LG Tromm WM2487HRM washing machine. It would not complete a cycle. It wouldn't even run long enough to drain the water from starting the cycle. I did some research to diagnose the problem. Ordered this part first to see if it was the issue before ordering a new heating element which may have been the culprit. There is a video or two out there that shows how to replace this item by taking the top, control panel and front off of the machine. When purchasing this item I read a previous review that stated you can access the part from the bottom of the machine. Sure enough! Just tilt the machine back. The bottom of the machine is completely exposed. I replaced this item in less than 5 minutes. That included getting up off the floor to grab snips to cut the ziptie off the existing part. I've run 3 cycles of laundry now with no error. Very happy with this product and not having to spend a small fortune to replace my washer.
