“All the features” well yes and no, You can go w/o sub- and will “loose” the energy IQ and the automatic in/out and few bits. But you can go without and see - not a deal breaker in my opinion :)

Can i use the wired tado without the thermostat conectors?

If by 'wired Tado' you mean the receiver that attaches to the boiler, and by 'thermostatic connectors' you mean smart radiator valves, yes you can use the receiver on its own to turn your boiler on and off, to heat the radiators and to have hot water. Using the smart radiator valves, though, enables you too instantly see the temperature in each room you have a valve, and to control the temperature room by room using the Tado app.

Can this be used only to switch on or off a valve at certain times?

Yes. I do this. You can give the specific valve a unique schedule.

Hi, i have a starling hub/internet bridge, do the tado trv's connect via this without a separate bridge?

Yes, your bridge allows your trv's to connect to the internet so they can be switched on and off by your phone. But, always a 'but', this doesn't mean they can individually switch on and off the boiler. In order to do that, there needs to be a wireless receiver connected to the boiler. This is the best option, but a slightly less option is to have a tado wall thermostat connected to the boiler by wires. The simplest option is to have the boiler come on as and when you want it and for your trv's to control individual rooms via your phone.
