I used these rather than the usual socket type hinges as I was building lightweight cupboards using 9mm board. They worked well initially with, initially, 3 cupboard doors being fitted as a test. Within a few days one of the hinges broke with the two halves falling apart. Fortunately I had a few spares as I'd only used 6 but I'd be wary of using these for anything more than very gentle use.I ended up replacing the doors with tambour doors, removing the need for hinges as these didn't fill me with confidence.

Arrived quickly. Sturdy hinges but I bought the wrong type and had to return.

1. Nowhere in the advertising or the video does it say that you cannot fit these hinges in what they call "Mode 1" to a side panel thicker than 1.5 cm.2. The hinges are useless for mounting a cabinet door vertically . The hinge pivots are so slack that the door droops. N.B. that the video shows only horizontal use ofthese hinges.3. The 'Soft Close' mechanism doesn't close the door against the frame.

Purchased to replace hinges builders had fitted on a unit door they had built. Used 4x as the door was heavey and did the job perfectly.
