Can you use it as a boby soap

I use it as a body soap, so I suppose you could use it on your "boby" You might want to ask for consent first.

Ingredient says it contains " potassium hydroxide" which is classified in european union as "toxic" and unsafe to use in cosmetics.whats the amount?

Alone, potassium hydroxide (KOH) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) are both dangerous. During soap making, they're combined with a fat and water. One is used depending on if the result will be a liquid soap (KOH) or solid (NaOH). Soap can't be made without saponification which is kicked off through the chemical reaction with water and fat plus either KOH or NaOH. You'd just have a mucky, gooey mess that is ineffective. Saponification is basically the process where the ester bond of a triglyceride is cleaved. It leaves behind soap (fatty acids) and glycerol.

what scent should i get if i have never used this product before?

Other than unscented, Almond is probably the "friendliest". It's a warm and pleasant scent. All of the varieties are great but they are definitely not subtle. The peppermint can really be intense if you're not used to it. Keep in mind this is real soap, made the real way. If you get it in your eyes it's going to sting! If you get the peppermint in your eyes it's going to sting a LOT.

I see lots of notes about moisturizing, but nothing about actually cleansing. Is this anti-bacterial?

You dont need an antibacterial soap to cleanse your body. Anti bacterial soaps actually cause more harm than good because they wipe out all bacteria (good and bad) and disrupt gut flora which causes a host of other issues. This soap is wonderful at cleansing with natural oils and not any of the nasty additives.

Still has that peppermint smell which is nice! but theres definitely lavender in this as well it's equaled out with the peppermint smell! I love this stuff! and its so much for cheap! I used it to get that factory smell out of my bundles and it worked! good literally anything BUT if you're going to use it as body wash dilute it with water a bit first or it will dry you out you'll be squeaky clean but dry. Please read the instructions yall 😭

Great scent and tons of lather

Love the Lavender scent and the way it lathers.. This is my first purchase of Dr Bonner's and I'm seriously a fan. I've only used the liquid soap as a body wash but I will using it on my dog tomorrow, I can't wait to try it and see how it makes her coat feel. I look forward to trying other scents and products.***Addition***Washed the dog with it and it worked beautifully! It lathered perfectly, it was fast to rinse out and made her coat look and feel wonderful.

A bottle goes so fast.

It’s non toxic yes but we have to use a lot to clean oily dishes. I hand wash dishes so a bottle goes out quick. It smells good but it takes a lot to do the job. Sometimes I feel like my hands are still oily after washing the dishes.
