What is the height range in inches from the seat to the floor? In other words, how many inches will my bottom be from the floor?

the seat part you sit on with the wheels on goes from 24inches to 34 inches its a nice chair i'm happy with it

What is the height of the back from the seat to the top of the back rest?

From actual seat you sit on, it is 19 inches to the top of the back rest. There is about a 3 1/2 inch gap between seat and back rest. This chair has held up better than I expected.

Do the arms adjust side ways (can the available space between the arms be widened)?

There are screws that let you adjust the width about an inch.

Why don't they tell the height range of the seat? there are a number of conflicting answers here & tech details says "assembled height 25 inches".

The top of the back of the seat cushion adjusts from 25"-30.5". At the low height it just slides in under my desk. Up high, I'm nearly standing. Just what I was looking for.
