The thickness of the foil?

Super thin, only good for hairline foiling, otherwise use Framar or color trak embossed foils

has any one used these with hair bleach, bottle says use non metallic bowl, can you use foil sheets?

Lol yes you can. You’re not supposed to put bleach into a metal bowl because it can cause a chemical reaction depending on the metallic. These and any form of tin foil are fine in hair. While I didn’t love these foils they work in a pinch

Can they be used for ice cream sandwiches?

I don’t know why not, but would probably use a sheet of wax paper first, then the foil so as to prevent any chance of sticking. Love these sheets. They are so handy.
