It's in a plastic bottle. But then I checked all the other oils I use for cooking and with the exception of one classier olive oil, they are all in plastic! I've heard horror stories about plastic too and I think it has some merit but a person would have to be very diligent to completely avoid liquids sold in plastic bottles!You could always transfer it immediately to a glass jar. I do that sometimes.

Damaged product and unable to return for a refund
