I waited to write this because I wanted to see how long they lasted and give a better and more accurate rating. Well the first one I replaced just shy of a complete year ago missing by just about a week to the date burnt out. I absolutely loved the better viewing and whiter light on these compared to my stock 07' Grand Prix bulbs! I drive a half hour daily during the night 5 days a week and depending on how often I just run with running lights during day which is easily 80%, they are not used during daytime trips for half hour to work. Hopefully this gives an idea of longevity for you. They definitely help me see deer and other animals much better which is great! I am replacing with the old until next one burns out and will have to think if I want to spend $40 for just bulbs again. Large price for such a short term considering it's just a bulb set. I will be looking to see what else is out there. Its a shame because performance for visibility it's a solid 5 for this type of bulb in my opinion. Longevity is a 3 at best.

I was hoping that the high price meant that they would last longer than 51 weeks. Also these are not covered by the Sylvania warranty since they are not "sold by Amazon" Purchases made on Amazon.commust state: ‘ships from and sold by Amazon.com’ in order to be considered an authorized retailer. I am not going to replace these with the same type. Moving on to another manufacturer. They are bright and easy to install.

They are a bit brighter than normal bulbs.I cannot see that much far ahead as with my stock bulbs.You can only see the difference in real dark situations. What bugs me is that the beams look different and the bulbs came from the same package.Although some cars have $90 bulbs so cant really complain.What is an improvement is far away vision. I can see road signs with ease. From close up is about a 15% improvement. But if there is a deer on the road and they are not in the perfect angle I'd hit it.Also an improvement when you drive by houses or parking lots, I can see pretty much everything.
