Quality product that fits my boat
I ordered a different brand that had a bracket and two thumb screws to attach to the windshield but the bracket was too big and not the correct angle to fit my windshield. I have a Starweld by Starcraft and the window trim is 1/2 inch. This mirror came with two additional and thicker rubber inserts both of which I used and the bracket fits perfectly on my windshield. I also like that the mirror is above the windshield for better forward visibility and that it folds down when trailering the boat. The field of vision is good for me and the unit seems to be very sturdy without a lot of vibration. The bracket is a rubber like material which dampens vibration and does not scratch the window trim. The mirror adjusts up and down as well as side to side.

Just what I needed. This is the second one I purchased. Very durable and clear.

I tried 3 different CIPA mirrors and liked this one the best
I bought this, the suction cup model, and another very large one (0200?). My use case is a 24' Yamaha SX240. The large one was just too large, maybe if it had to be further away or if I had a 30+' boat it would've been okay? I wasn't going to be able to see if front of me with that one. The suction cup one I admittedly didn't give a chance, as the other worked so well. I think that my mount options were limited for this and there is always the concern of it falling off. Maybe I should've given it more of a try. This one was of a good size and the clamp size worked well with my windshield. Once clamped on you can rotate the arm up and down and it has the "usual" ball mount to swivel the mirror for fine adjustment. My one complaint is that the clamp requires a tool, an Allen wrench, and it takes a fair amount of alignment and turns to tighten it down. If you are going to permanently mount this there is no issue, but I want to take it off each time to cover my boat. If I left it on it would stretch out the cover and possible accelerate wear or puncture the cover as it is rather tight.

Best ski mirror solution for old SeaDoo Utopia w/ wake tower
I've been searching desperately for a replacement ski mirror solution on my 2008 SeaDoo Utopia SE 205. It broke at the end of last season and all of the SeaDoo parts warehouses no longer carry the ski mirror. It was by chance that I found a forum post that mentioned that the bracket style on my SeaDoo Utopia is a CIPA bracket and that you could just unscrew the mirror from this bracket and it fits perfectly in the existing wake tower bracket that still remains on my boat. I can't speak to the longevity of the mirror, except to say that I believe this is the exact same mirror that came with the boat, just under the SeaDoo name and it lasted 15 years.

Installed on 1" diameter rail on Center Console Boat.
Searched quite a while for a rear view mirror to install on the 1 " diameter rail that circles the windshield on our Center Console Boat. Nearly all I found were for flat windshield frames. After reading mixed reviews, decided to give this a try. At first I thought I was out of luck. The mirror has two sets of rubber shims. One set for flat frames and one for round rails. The set for rails was too large and would not tighten. The set for for flat frames would not work either. I then tried using one shim for rails and one for flat frame. WORKED PERFECTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was able to tighten the clamp securely!!! Easily adjusts to perfect angle either for standing or sitting while driving. NO MORE TURNING AROUND TO CHECK MY SIX!!!! Also easily folds down when putting the cover on the boat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MIRROR IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL ON 1 INCH CHROME RAIL ON CENTER CONSOLE BOAT.

Does NOT work for a Lund boat windshield
Even though this seems like a good product it doesn't work for my application, bummer. It doesn't open far enough via the hex-head bolt to clamp onto the windshield. Does not open to the required 1 INCH for my windshield housing on my 2024 Lund. Good Luck

very nice clear and large mirror also quality is very high
Very nice large mirror ,, hard to find a mirror that would fit and stay on my boat bc my front windshield is the only place I can mount it and I have tried several other mirrors and this is the only one that has works ( bc the windshield is thin and all the suction cup styles get hot and fall off .. hope this helps but I give it 5stars
