Make sure both the surface you're sticking to and the sticky on the back is quite warm before sticking the sticky to the specified sticking spot. (lol)Seriously though, the first time I did it, it was about 8C. It promptly fell off and onto my less-than-spotless garage floor. Of course it fell on the sticky part. After the horrible experience of getting the double sided tape off, I came to the conclusion that the actual adhesive is more than sticky enough if installed in a warmer environment, such as my hand temperature for example.After installing at a human hand temperature, the light stuck and worked. A bit dim, especially off angle.Haven't been pulled over on my bike with them installed as turned signals.

These lights installed super easy, on the curved surface of my motorcycle handgrip guards, flash as expected thanks to the LED-specific relay I installed.They're not all that bright. When I see my reflection in a car ahead of me, most of the light is coming from the 14-yr-old incandescent lights 9 inches below them.I do appreciate that I now have signals higher up, with the sharp illumination time and light bandwidth of LED. Just wish they were brighter!

I bought these to put in behind my mirror as a turn signal in my Ford Ranger. I did my test on a 9V battery and noticed it was a little dim, but figured 12v car battery would boost it up more.So I installed them behind the mirror, inside the mirror shell. It's bright enough that you see it light up at night, but even in the early morning or late night it is not visable at all, let alone during the day.I was unaware that LEDs can have varying lumen rattings, and so I will be looking for something with more lumens, although this page has no description for how many lumens these ones put out, so I have nothing to gauge by.

Not quite what I wanted but I'll keep them. Red light is too bright for running lights. Signal & Brake only.

These are much smaller than I had envisioned, but no big deal. In fact, I've decided to use these on my motorcycle instead.LEDs are nice and bright and 2 colors. Yellow for signals, red for brakes.I would buy again for other projects.
