Brace Gard Squares - Dental Orthodontic Silicone Wax for Braces - Pack of 10

I love these for my braces. To be clear, I have found the same issues as others - they won't stick or mold around my brackets at all. However, I have a wire that absolutely digs into my cheek and TADs that stick out (if you don't have them, count yourself lucky), and these are the only thing that helps! They are thick enough that the wire can't make it's way all the way through, and they develop a deep imprint of the wire and TAD that keeps them in place even though they don't stick. Don't get these to help with annoying brackets, but if you are like me and have additional hardware and wires sticking out that wax is too weak to help with, then here is your solution!

Please heed the advice. Do not buy this product. Mine was not pre cut and it was sparkly or looked like dried bubbles throughout the silicon. And worst of all it doesn’t stick to your backers no matter how much you dry them. I’ve tried multiple times on various brackets and this product truly doesn’t work. I’m most sure if why this is for sale. This is a waste of money at any price. I wouldn’t even accept this for free. Complete waste of money. I wish I could leave a 0 star rating.

I got this exact brand from my orthodontist and loved it. I liked that it was clear and seemed to stay on well especially the back brackets. I got the product in and was so excited to use it and it will not stick. It doesn’t want to mold at all! Don’t waste your time with this one.

I ordered this 2/2023, and it's not the right stuff. Real Brace Gard Squares come in a blue box with a clear cover, and are (surprise!) square. These are the sparkly strips in sparkly colored boxes, which, as many other reviewers point out, are not very useful. (They are too stiff.)The real Brace-Gard Squares are really good, so I think I'm going to go try to find them. I ordered them once before (fall of 2022), and I think they, too, were mislabeled as something else-- I think "Orthosil."

Love brace gard squares! It's the only wax that works for me!

I'm rating this for the specific use I got it for, not normal braces pain, because it really is as bad as the other reviewers say for that. However it is fantastic to use over braces when you are wearing a full face snorkel mask. It stops the brackets digging in to your inner lips and it isn't hard to get off your teeth when the mask comes off. Normal orthodontic wax is horrendous to get out of the wires after a few hours of snorkeling.

My daughter got braces and the orthodontist gave her Brace Gard to use. She liked it a lot so i went to Amazon to order more. I noticed the bad reviews and that the name branding was different (different font) but decided to give it a try. It’s really bad. My daughter said that it doesn’t stick and it crumbles easily, definitely not the same as the one she got in the office.
