Not easy to connect to Wi-Fi, not easy to load additional software. I actually had a tech friend come and help me simply connect to Wi-Fi. This item is made in China like most things nowadays, however the manual, the instruction and the method of connecting and downloading are designed by a different culture not familiar with Americans or by engineers. The instruction manual is so small you need a magnifying glass. The instructions are unclear. I love the way the basic display that's preloaded look, very cool but that's as far as I got. Their support goes through Amazon tech support that is of little help since they are reading through a script. After 25 minutes of phone support I gave up frustrated. Still on the fence about keeping this as much as I love it. I saw this at a Mercedes dealership and found out where they got it. After my second visit there I realized they had on display the preloaded display as I have. I inquired why and they said they were unable to figure out how to go any further as I! The company needs to revamp their manual, easy of installation and provide domestic support. I'm looking for another company to try since I love the display.

This is a pretty cool item. It does take a bit to learn how to use. It is definitely not plug and Play unless you want to use the preloaded shows. Finding the app is also not the easiest thing in the world. I reached out to their customer service and they were very responsive. It took a few back and forth but I eventually figured it out.

Incredible product. Allows you to really step your image up. Also can upload own work. App is super easy also. I love mine.

Poorly made item and overall bad quality. Difficult to put together and use because instructions are obviously translated (very badly) by non-native English speakers. App is almost solely in Chinese and impossible to use and understand. SD card compartment was broken when we received it, and the SD card doesn't stay in place at all because of that. It's made out of very cheap plastic, and the wifi doesn't work well either. Overall horrid and I would NOT recommend. I sent it back after attempting to use and understand it. The ONE positive thing is that when we did finally get it to turn on, the image quality is good. Amazon REALLY needs to start vetting its vendors more carefully, as I've had several quality issues in the past year relating to the same types of things.

Produces a nice quality image, plenty of LEDs on it for a decent amount of image clarity. Watch your fingers though when those blades are spinning you don't want your fingers anywhere near it. It does make a 'fan noise' like a regular fan would make on high speed.I used the phone app to connect to it, the fan makes it's own WiFi connection, connect to that wifi with your phone and run the app and then you can upload content to display on it. There is some built in content, or you can pick your own photos or vidoes to upload to it.If you want more content, use amazon's contact the seller feature and ask them for the google drive links. The google drive has all kinds of pre-formatted content you can download to your device and upload into the fan to display. Support responded same day for me with the link.Happy with the purchase so far.EDIT: Taking a star off for bad app stability. Tried on two different Android devices a phone and a tablet, only about 25% of their content library uploads to the Hologram Fan. The rest of it crashes the app when you hit SEND to upload. I thought maybe it was just my phone so I tried a tablet as well, same thing. Android app crashes on the same pieces of content leaving much of their library unusable.
