Great for Grilling
Ordered this trepidatiously, but have loved using this sauce. It has been my go-to drizzle for almost all kinds of grilling. It adds a hit of umami to all stir fries, but have added a drizzle to burgers, grilled chicken, grilled zucchini, and steaks. It gets beautifully caramelized when added after that first flip when grilling. I have used it as a dipping sauce for gyoza and dumplings, sometime mixing in a little seasoned rice wine vinegar, garlic and ginger to brighten it for dipping, but it is also great just out of the bottle. Put a little drizzle on some grilled shrimp tacos. DO SHAKE it - it separates, but one reason it works well is the sesame oil in it, I think.

Perfect on Gyoza imo
This is now my go-to. I’ve tried several gyoza sauces and made some of my own (pita) and this has become my fav. It has a good balance of flavors and sweetness.Living in the back of beyond it’s 150mile round trip to get to an Asian Market, they have the best frozen gyoza but none of their sauces hit right. Then I tried this stuff - there may be a better sauce out there but I’m not likely to find it and I hate making it myself.

So good!
This sauce is so good! Like a Thai sweet sauce but more complex, with a bite of soy sauce and a mild heat. Yummy on dumplings and fried rice! Be sure to shake the bottle before using.

Great for potstickers and more!
I received my order promptly, which I appreciated. The bottle was larger and heavier than I expected, so that was nice. I peeled off the seal, gave it a quick one-two flip, and dolloped a sample on my fingertip. Immediately I knew this was the wrong approach. First, the viscosity of this sauce is such that it needs to be shaken - like, *seriously* shaken- for about 30 seconds, minimum, so that it almost emulsifies. Then you can taste a tiny bit, but the flavor from your fingertip or a spoon or a cracker are all going to be different! It’s a caramelly, peppery, fragrant flavor that I’ve never had before. I took my cues from the name and heated up some pork and veggie potstickers, then drizzled over a good amount of well-shaken DD sauce. Perfect! Later, I was enjoying some smoked Gouda on buttery crackers, drizzled on a bit. Brilliant! My favorite use so far has been in the cabbage dish I made for dinner. A shredded cabbage, onions, scallions, carrots, cooked ground sausage, and a couple of scrambled eggs. Garlic. Usually I would rely mainly on soy and stock for the flavor, but I shook the Dumpling Daughter sauce for a good long time, then added it liberally, along with a wee squeeze of lime and a splash of rice wine vinegar. It imparted such a wonderful deep flavor that I was able to use almost no stock at all, no sesame oil, barely any soy sauce, because they weren’t necessary, and the whole dish was much lighter and fluffier. I’m sure I’ll soon find other ways to use it!

Hand's down best for ramen and dumplings!
Dumpling Daughter is my go-to add-in for ramen and dumplings. It's got just the right amount of chili oil, so it's got kick, but not hot. Adds a savory, spicy flavor that is awesome!

Favorite dumpling sauce!
Super delicious condiment! I often use this and mix it with a little black vinegar to make a nice dumpling sauce. Also, it’s rather mild and not very spicy. It’s great for a lot of different things. My tip is to unscrew the top in order to spoon out the mixture since it doesn’t pour well.

You will enjoy it
Robust flavor, that paired so well with Costco's Soup Dumplings, Xiao Long Bao, after being pan fried. This sauce has a thick consistency, wonderful fragrance and adds just enough flavor not to overpower a dish. We enjoyed this so much that we also ordered the sweet and spicy to try next!

Perfect blend of sweet and savory! Not spicy
I am addicted to this sauce! This sauce is so good I could almost drink it straight from the bottle. It is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. At first, I was hesitant to purchase because I really can't handle spicy, my tongue is a wimp. Now I find myself buying wontons and dumpling everytime we go to Costco just so I have something to put this sauce on!
