Stove Windscreen,10/12/16 Plates Aluminum Stove Windshield with Drawstring Bag, for Camping, Butane Stoves

I have been contemplating buying something like this item for a few years to reduce heat loss and increase efficiency in windy conditions. I had even considered making my own. I saw the price this was going for and took the plunge, after reading the reviews. I'm grateful to everyone who took the time to tell their account, both positive and otherwise. Lightweight vs flimsy? I bought this to be lightweight, which it is, so will accept that I may need to support it with a rock or two sometimes. Pins coming out? I decided that I will accept the breadth and (light)weight as is, so I crimped top and bottom of the plate tubes, which took about five minutes. End of pin loss problem. The plates are stamped out of very thin alloy to keep the weight down, so may be a little sharp. A few minutes with some fine sandpaper will cure this. As for the imperfect finish, I did not buy this for its looks, rather for its function and given the price, accept the blemishes caused during manufacture. I'm looking forward to using this windshield for many years to come and would recommend it.

Handy only used once and not in full storm 😬. Stands up very well on its own protects the gas burner from random wind that blows the gas . Actually work well as a deterrent to people to want to go near your stove as was using at a low level meant it was more noticeable there was a fence around it . The steam coming from my camping kettle didn’t give it away or later the smell of bacon . Easy to clean , came in a little storage bag and folds away neatly nice design . Good value for price as will last years if used properly . Where has this been all my life needed this for years

Does the job, light weight cheaply built but what do you expect for the price. Pins are prone to fall out but if you keep an eye on them they are fine. it's a great little wind break for the price point. Yes there much better out there but if cheap and works if what you want this is a good purchase.

Lightweight, good size. Though not sure how it will perform in windy weather as no pegging/fixing points... which, considering it's a "Wind break" might prove to be an issue. Quite flimsy metal so will probably bend/dent easily. Would not stand up to extreme heat, so would only recommend for use with small burners. Also not convinced that the pins that hold the panels together will stay on place when it's been used a few times...we'll see.

What a cracking nit of kit! It really made lighting and maintaining a flame on our small camping stove so much better, I wish I bought one years ago!

Ideal for camping stove, can pin it into the ground, folds up small so can fit in the stove when not in use, perfect for keeping the wind off!
