Q: Can you put a hot baking pan from the oven on this tempered glass?

Yes, you can. I used them this past week in preparation of my family's Yuletide/Christmas dinner. I was able to place pans right out of the oven, as well as off a stove eye onto the tempered glass surface. I was nervous the first time, stood waiting and listening for any cracking sounds. I heard none and I smiled.

Q: Can I take dish from hot oven and place it on the board without it breaking or cracking

I haven't tried putting hot dish directly onto this board, although ads seemed to hint that you can. My issue is that it is raised up on little legs around the edges so has no support in the middle. I'm even cautious about putting hot dishes from oven directly onto my glass cooktop. I'd get back on their website - you could be told anything in these review sections.
