I have these on 3 different shelves. They are not flimsy at all and are very slim so you do not see them when they are on the shelf. There are little pads on the bottom so they do not scratch the shelf. Would recommend.

These bookends are well made and they are sturdy. They are much nicer than the book ends I have purchased at my local office supply store.

I bought these black metal bookends for our DVD collection, and I’m really happy with the quality. They’re heavy, sturdy, and do exactly what they’re supposed to do—hold everything in place without tipping or sliding.The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the product label is a bit misleading. It says “4 pairs,” but you actually get 4 individual bookends, which equals 2 pairs total. Just something to keep in mind when ordering so you’re not surprised by the quantity.Aside from that, they’re excellent quality and I’d definitely recommend them for anyone needing strong, reliable bookends!
