I got these for a very specific reason, and it took me a while to test and review them because I wanted to go through the actual experience first hand: To use them on an airplane.First, the mask itself is like any other KN95 masks, with the beak for easy breathing. The product comes with five masks, individually packaged in its own bag. When you take them out to use, they have that straight from the factory smell, so I recommend airing them out. I put mine over the vent of my air purifier. The only difference to other KN95 masks is the single hole on the left side, for the hose to carry the air through.Second, assembly was straightforward and easy. There is a rubber piece you insert into the hole to connect the hose with, plus another rubber ring for stability I guess. Finally, the other end of the hose attaches to the purifier. The one thing I really love about the purifier, besides how small and light it is, is that it comes with an internal rechargeable battery, charged via a USB-C that's also included. The power plug is not however, so you'll have to provide your own. Also, if you intend to use them on trips like me, remember to also bring a powerbank. There are three power settings for the fan/purifier. The lowest setting is actually more than enough air for me, although people who use them in more taxing situations might need the extra two levels of power.The main reason for me to getting these is the long trans-Pacific flights I will partake regularly this year for my work. The shortest flight is to Japan, which is an almost nine hour trip. I was not able to fully test it for the whole duration of the flight, as there were periods when I powered it down for meals and drinks, etc. But at the lowest setting, on a full charge, it was able to last the entire flight.The product also comes with two straps, one to wear on the arm, and a lanyard to wear around the neck. Whichever method you choose, the lightness of the whole system doesn't drag on the mask, so wearing the whole thing was very comfortable. If you're just sitting for most of the flight like I did, I would prefer the lanyard around the neck.I would totally recommend this system to anyone, not just for travelers. Using it is easy and comfortable, just like wearing a mask by itself. But it is especially useful for the airplane, and I'm very glad I was able to find this and review it for you.On a final note, if you are a paranoid type like me, you can even double mask if you are wary of weak points with this system. Wear your preferred mask first, then put this on over it. If you turn on the air at the higher settings, it is strong enough to go through your inner mask. Just take note that obviously the power duration will take a hit at the higher settings.

No mask provides a 100% face seal; something can always sleep in around the edges, over facial hair, etc. The usual solution for high risk environments is a positive pressure system, in which fresh, filtered air in continually pumped in. While leakage may occur around the mask, it’s air flowing out from inside. This is a small, inexpensive, positive pressure mask, with a light weight positive pressure air supply and a HEPA filter that connects to disposable masks via a soft silicone hose. It does work, but it has limitations.The air pump has three power levels, and I found that only the highest level kept air from entering from the last margin when I inhaled. That was while sitting in a chair. If I went for a walk, I could feel the mask collapse slightly as I inhaled, telling me that the pump wasn’t supplying enough air. Still, it was better than a plain mask. I also had some problems with the hose, which is very soft and easily kinked if the filter/pump was moved around. Last, it came with three disposable masks, and it’s unclear if replacements are available, although it’s possible that some ordinary protective masks could be modified to work with it.While I wouldn’t trust this system in a true high-risk environment, I think it’s a good choice for those who are weak or aged and find a plain mask difficult to breath through. It does provide some useful positive pressure, and the HEPA filter provides better filtration than a surgical mask. I can see it being used for shopping, airplane trips, and anywhere someone might be exposed to others in a confined area.

This is such an innovative invention! I saw this on tiktok and ran to order it! As someone who travels a bit and is totally uncomfortable wearing a mask this was a godsend! Normally when im wearing a mask i have a hard time breathing and my glasses get all foggy. The carbon monoxide you breath out fills the mask and makes it so uncomfortable and strained to take a breath. This literally solves alllll those problems. Its like your own personal ac unit! This was especially useful when traveling via airplane when you have to keep your mask on at all times for long flights. This made me feel so comfortable and I barely even thought about the fact that i had a mask on. Its fresh air constantly being blown into the mask. Love it, wouldnt get on a plane without it!

I normally wear a mask when going for a walk and pull it down to my chin to make breathing easier, only pulling it up if I am going to get close to someone. The powered filter with the tube to the mask provides sufficient air flow that I can wear the mask in place for the duration of the walk. The kit comes with several ways to attach the fan/filter box. I chose to use the lanyard and the only problem I encountered with that is that it would tend to swing back and forth while I walked and that made the tube pull on the mask. There is velcro like material on the back, so maybe next time I will secure it so it doesn’t swing. This charges with a USB-C connector. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, but no AC adapter. I think this is a good product.

5/5 RatingHands down this mask is a MUST HAVE for all frequent travelers or if you plan to be in confined spaces for long periods of time. It may seem a little awkward to carry around with you but trust, you will thank God for the positive air pressure and comfortability. I wish I would have had this 2 years ago.

The masks are great I never received the purifier part just the mask no complaints I like the filters with the mask and the full coverage
