Cosamo Color Your Hair778 Medium Golden Brown (3 Pack)

As I had become allergic to permanent hair color, I have been trying CoSaMo hair color as it is free of harsh chemicals. I had tried the medium brown first but found it had an ashy look as it faded so I switched to the medium golden brown on the advice of my hair stylist. I find the color more evenly matched with my original hair color. Also, coverage was better although I note I left it on for 40 minutes (versus 25 minutes previously). The color is really beautiful and I have received many compliments. The downside is that as a stain rather than a permanent color, it washes out fairly quickly particularly from the temples (sides in front) and the top center part. I therefore do a touch up of those areas at 2 weeks and a full color once a month. This medium golden brown has become my favorite and I would recommend it to anyone who has reddish or gold highlights in their brown hair. (FYI, I previously used permanent color medium auburn mixed with a medium golden brown). Also, as it fades, not so ashy. Great product.

I purchased this(#778) to replace #78 Clairol Loving Care(Medium Golden Brown) color that has been discontinued. I had an old box of the Clairol and the ingredients appeared to be the same. I actually like the smell of this better including the conditioner. It is definitely slightly different though in color from Loving care. I actually prefer the CoSaMo. The color has more red(auburn) than golden tones so my grays turned a little more auburn than golden which is more my natural highlights any way(I have freckled skin with medium brown hair). It has lasted now thru 9 Wen cleansing conditioners and an aggressive shampoo at hair stylist. It is fading a little faster but I left it in only 30 minutes as others suggested. I'll leave it in 40 minutes next time like I used to leave in Loving care to see if lasts longer next time. This is still cheaper than salon color even if doesn't last as long and I don't have to worry about noticeable roots.

I had decided to stop coloring my hair because all the decent non-permanent products had changed formulas. Then I found CoSaMo. It is so much better than anything I've use in the past (and I have been coloring for years). No mixing, it doesn't run like some of the others, no terrible smell. Touch ups are much easier and less wasteful because the product doesn't have to be mixed. I also like that it goes on to dry hair; just makes it a little more convenient for those times when I need to color in a hurry. It doesn't dry out my hair and the washout is very gradual with no harsh lines.

Since Clairol discontinued their Loving Care line, I thought I would try this product. It performs just as well as the Clairol product.It's a rinse it which covers my grey well, and lasts about a week to 10 days.

This hair product is the worst hair dye I ever had...it can't cover grey hair at all. I leave it on for over 45 min, still can't cover some of grey hair...very disappointed!!! even some of grey hair become a little brown color, after 3 washes it turned totally grey hair again. I don't recommended this product to anyone! just don't waste your money!
