FTZ II
Arrived today and took it out for a test drive on random day and night around my neighborhood. I was nervous about functionality after reading a couple reviews but I bought it because I trust Nikon. I am completely happy with the fit, compatibility, functionality without any lost in quality.

It works
I have a number of older Nikkor lenses (not that old, but for my D780) as well as a Sigma long zoom lens, this adapter lets me use them with a Nikon Z8. Works perfectly. My Tamron 90mm isn't as happy, but I'm not sure if that is due to the adapter or some possible damage that the lens had (is is rebuilt/refurbished). If you have older Nikon compatible F series lenses, I suggest renting a Z camera and FTZ adapter to test them BEFORE purchasing a Z camera, to check compatibility.

Nice unit if you have older lenses
My son gifted me a new Nikon camera but the mount didn’t allow the use of my older Nikon lenses so I purchased this unit. It was easy to place on my new camera and allows pure auto focus capabilities using my 3 older lenses saving me thousands in lenses replacement replace costs. Would recommend this.

Works as advertised
I bought it to go with a Zfc, I wanted something a bit smaller to pair with my D7100. Being able to swap the lenses back and forth is great option. The construction of the adapter is solid, it feels like it's a quality build. I tested it with 5 lenses, 3 Nikon DX, 1 Nikon full frame & 1 Sigma full frame. All but the 1 prime lens have VR. Focus accuracy and speed were the same as they were on the SLR. In fact it seemed like my favorite, 16-85mm, may have been slightly faster on the Zfc. That could easily be confirmation bias though. Picture quality was great, I didn't see any drop-off between the cameras. My biggest worry was the Sigma, it's a 50-500 zoom and I was worried it either would be slower or not work at all. I couldn't tell where it was having any issues with focus, VR or picture quality. If you're like me and you don't want to sink a lot of money into new lenses, having the option to use SLR lenses on both bodies is great.

Nikon Z adapter works
this Nikon adapter works for all my Nikon legacy lenses used on my Nikon Zf. There are many 3rd party adapters but I only trust Nikon as it was designed and made for my Nikon camera and lenses.

Works great, but beware of AF on non-Nikon lenses.
If you’re reading this, you already know what this does and how well it works. But do be aware that autofocus probably won’t work with non-Nikon lenses. The couple of F-mount Sigma & Tokina’s in my collection AF perfectly on my F bodies, but act like MF lenses with this adapter on my z6iii. Not a big surprise, but something to be aware of.

We have a great connection
Perfect addition to my photography equipment. I recently upgraded from a Nikon D5600 to a Nikon z7ii. Mirrorless lenses are pretty expensive and out of the budget currently, so it was great to know there was an adapter like this that would allow me to use my DSLR lenses on my Mirrorless camera. Saved me on having to by the same lenses in the Mirrorless versions, which are 3xs expensive right now. This is great for those people who are trying to make the jump to Mirrorless, but can't afford to fully upgrade their equipment as well. It's very lightweight, easy to attach and does not lower picture quality. Fits comfortably between the camera body and lens.

Works perfectly with Nikon F mount lenses
Works perfectly with non-Z Nikon lenses that I already own. some functions curtailed with use of third-party lenses for Nikon F mount. Well made, easily attached to both camera and lens, does not add significant weight to camera, good value.
