My wife noticed without me telling her what I did!
I watched the videos where people were showing the keys with and without the rings on it. I read that people said it does not really make a difference with the on. I took the chance and gave them a shot on my SteelSeries Apex Keyboard. My wife has ADHD and the clicking was loud because the switches click and you pressing the keys down makes it worse. People do not understand that the switch makes a click you cannot remove, the rings helps with the keypresses. It does quiet the keyboard very well. I did not tell my wife I put them on and I was working on a college paper and she thanked me for typing softer. She noticed and I was typing the same way I always do, so yes, they do work. I definitely recommend them for the gamers out there who live with someone else, especially with an ADHD person as it was distracting them a lot. Remember, you are silencing the key press, not the click as that is what makes the mechanical keyboard.... well... mechanical!

put the shhhh on your mechanical keyboard
Works well on my Corsair K70 RGB Pro. Had to double up on the primary keys, but that still left plenty for all the others. Does not interfere with the RGB lighting at all. 5 stars. It reduced the click clack sound massively.

Works great
The media could not be loaded. These are a huge improvement. I had to add 3 rings to each key so it raised them slightly but the laptop didn't recognize the keys so I have only 2 rings on the keys and it's okay. I tried to capture it in the video but you can't really tell. I would definitely recommend.

If your MX keyboard is too loud, try these.
I don't care if "silent switches" are more popular, these made my linear smooth switches silent, for a fraction of the cost. Some will say they're mushy, but I feel like they make the impact of typing softer.

O-Rings do their job!
I have a RedDragon Horus K618 wireless keyboard w/brown switches, and these O-rings certainly reduced the sound! However the sound is less clicky, more scratchy and the keycaps are slightly higher than before (maybe 0.5mm)...either way, it is a cheap improvement! The keys are slightly mushier now, but overall these O-rings work fine! I would certainly prefer to replace the keyswitches to a quieter switch, but this is a good-enough alternative. There are enough O-rings in the 120 pack for a full-size keyboard, I only have the O-rings placed on the MX switch stem, not the stabilizers, and I've still got plenty O-rings remaining.

Do not put these on your alphabet keys
Great for Large buttons with poor stabilization i.e. Space, shift, enter etc., but only good if you are trying to quiet a keyboard at an extremely low cost. I would not recommend for any other keys.

Excellent
Bought these to keep my mechanical keyboard from clicking so loud. Seemed cheaper than replacing all the switches. They still click nicely, but it's not so obnoxious. (mx cherry) I still have some rings leftover

Wow! What a difference these make!
So I buy this nice mechanical keyboard. The keys FEEL great.Almost everything is great about it except ONE major thing…“Clackety clack clacking” as I type?Is this a BLUE key switch setup? No.It’s RED key switches… they’re supposed to be quiet. If I push a key slowly it is quiet. But when I get typing fast… “clackety clack”!So I figure it’s the keycaps hitting the base.I ordered some new keycaps, but I didn’t really like them and I thought it was silly wasting the perfectly nice ones that came with the keyboard.THEN I bump into these silly little O-rings.I order them. They arrive.I put them on HALF my keycaps… and VOILA…The crazy loudness disappears from that half!I’ll finish up the rest of my keys tomorrow.IF you have a loud keyboard with removable keycaps… TRY these BEFORE ordering a new keyboard OR new keycaps.$5 what a crazy difference!
