I have tried many wahs pedals and some work on bass some cut off the lows really bad. This one works great retains all the frequencies I still get all my tone highs and lows. It’s has a good sweep as it goes through all the pitches I like alot. I have had two crybaby’s a guitar one n the white bass one and a Ibanez weeping demon wah this one is better than all of them. The options to go from classic and warm are helpful i use the warm setting for bass it really grabs my sound. I have not tried the expression feature yet probably never will not y I bought it so I can’t say what it does or how it sounds but the wah settings are top notch. I take my sound seriously I’m addicting to building pedalsboards and quality sounding pedals it’s no joke to me “live to pedal,pedal to live “ I keep this one on my main board the dark purple one that I play with n gig with. Besides it sounding good it looks pretty cool too nice metallic paint job and the led light are pretty cool as they cycle around when in use. The pedal feels strong and has great construction it’s soild not all cheaply made operating smoothly and super light weight and is small saves space. U will be happy with this one no regrets whatsoever looks good sounds good it is good. PEDAL TO LIVE-LIVE TO PEDAL!!!!

Very impressed. I have had it 3 weeks. This pedal has not disappointed me. Foot print is great for my board - free'd up some space. I was using a Ernie ball MVP pedal. The Hotone is better. Volume is accurate, no sound to full with no tonal affect. And the Wah is perfect. I am a life long player 40+ years and this fits in with what I do. My jam band on the weekends to my late-night jams in the bedroom. Great addition to the board. Lots of setting options. Both Wah sounds are good. I heard no bad or unwanted noise. And it works well with other pedals. I use the tuner out. The status lights are helpful. Happy I bought it. I have about 20 or so pedals (not on the board at the same time), I've bought many of them too. This made me smile.

Im usually the type to go for classic brands but I thought I'd take a chance on a lesser known competitor and Im glad I did. Two months into owning this pedal and it's become an essential component of my set up. The build quality of the pedal is solid - I hope I can still say that in two years, but so far so good!The tone control is useful and although I haven't used the volume feature much, it's cool to have. More than anything, it sounds really good and feels great to use. I'm now using wah in unexpected contexts because the pedal just livens up your sound. I had a vintage Morely that was quite cumbersome (fair enough for vintage though) and this just feels like a more modern, practical solution. Its size is just right too, not too big or small.The smallest gripe: the textured material used on the footpad (meant to increase traction) picks up bits from my sock and the floor. Kind of stupid to complain about but rubber wouldn't do that. Or maybe I just have dirty socks. Anyway, buy the pedal.
