The instructions were easy enough to follow, and I found a couple of helpful YouTube videos to walk me through the trickier steps. The process took about an hour and a half, mostly because I wanted to be extra careful, but it was totally manageable.Once installed, the new screen worked perfectly. The touch sensitivity feels just like the original, and the display looks clean and clear. The home button works fine too, though as advertised, it doesn’t support Touch ID. That wasn’t a big deal for us.Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out. Have replaced iPad screens a few times before. This kit was a good one to use, no issues. Instructions were pretty decent - i used them along with a few other Youtube videos to make sure I had the right steps/areas to be careful with.No issues with touchscreen functionality, which seems to be one of the questionable items for the aftermarket screens.

This is a great product, but *** WARNING *** fixing a broken iPad screen is not for the feint of heart. It took me three hours in total. Everything you need to do the repair is included in the kit. There are also links to instructional videos on YouTube. The instructions are fair at best. The videos are too fast and brush over some steps. I also found my Gen 9 iPad was slightly different inside than what the video showed. For me, the most time consuming step was removing the shattered screen from the very sticky glue that was applied in production. There were hundreds of thousands of tiny shards of glass with sticky backing on them. I wore black nitrile gloves so as not to get splinters. I had a vacuum cleaner nearby and every so often vacuumed up the tiny shards of glass. The gloves were not included in the kit, but should be. The video shows an unbroken screen being removed. This is unrealistic. It should show how to remove a crumbling shattered screen.All this said, if you take your time, (and you have plenty of time!) you can fix your broken screen on the first attempt. Yes I’d buy this again. And shame on Apple for making products that are very difficult to repair.

I decided to purchase this screen due to the number of good reviews and I am glad I did.The screen comes with all tools you will need and video instructions.When I first install it I got error so I reached out to the manufacturer and they helped me to resolve the issue very quick.The product is good but the support from the seller is even better.

I ordered one replacement kit from another store at beginning due to a few dollars less (I thought they would be the same anyway). But so disappointed that the one I bought at first have useless tools. I have to use my old tools (iphone kits). And eventually was misleading by the instruction. Once I installed everything, it made my ipad in ghost mode and let me locked out for a few hours.I immediately ordered this one and it was delivered in the evening at the same day. Just a few dollars more, I got a full set of tools including a knife cutter, which is very useful to clean the glues around the edge. More important, I found the videos in the product description are really useful. It has a lot of details and warnings that I encountered during the process. None of the videos I found on youtube provide these details.Because I didn't watch the videos at beginning so I made a few mistakes. I tried to contact the seller via the email, they gave me support immediately (Chinese timezone). More over, I got video support later. Unfortunately I made a few mistakes so I have already broke a couple of components. Everything works fine, but I peeled the inner cover first and it has full of fingerprint. The seller is very kind to send me a new one the next day. And I also asked him about replacing the original touch button. I got very detailed instruction.I now have successfully installed my new glass with my original button (only original button has Touch ID). The knife cutter, and extra glue are extremely useful. If I buy independently, it will cost me almost 10 dollars. And I also got a screen protectorThis is the first time I really want to continue to buy from this seller, if they have some products I need. Right now they only sell replacement for apple product, I definitely will buy in the future (Like iphone battery replacement and screen replacement, I had a few experience before).

The screen looks brand new and functions just as good as the original.The installation is tedious and time consuming. It took me about 90 mins to complete and multiple times re-watching the installation videos to make sure I was performing every step correctly. Be sure to setup a clean working environment, fully understand each step, and take your time. The instructions provided and online videos could be improved and more detailed to make installation easier.
