Worked great!
Worked great with my Mellanox ConnectX3-Pro cards to turn 40Gb QSFP+ to 10Gb SFP+. The cards have two 40Gb ports so I use one for 40 gig and one for 10 gig.

Doesn’t work in Cisco C9500-24Q
This doesn’t work in my Cisco C9500-24Q switches. Instead of passing through the transceiver’s details so the switch can identify it and link at 10Gb, it emulates a “QSFP 40G CU1M” at 40Gb and refuses to link up even though there’s appropriate power on the Rx and Tx.I’m really not sure what is going on with the 3rd party market these days, but this is the 3rd brand of this module I’ve tried in a week and none work properly as my official Cisco modules do, or as 3rd party modules from a year or two back do.

Works perfectly with Melannox 40G card to 10G Mikrotik switch
I had a 40G Mellanox CX-354A card I got cheap used, and was able to use this with a passive DAC to connect to my Mikrotik css326-24g-2s+ switch.

Perfect if you need it
Does exactly what it needs to do. Haven't seen any errors and it even worked in a 100G port configured as 40G to allow 10G.
