I’m not sure, but comes with the anchors so you should be able to figure drill bit size.

Is this metal or plastic? Title says metal but one reviewer stated it was plastic

The key holder for wall is metal, not plastic. It can be caught by magnets. Watch the video below, from where you could hear the metallic sound.

Will it damage the wall when removing the adhesive pads?

It comes with hardware to mount it so yes, it can damage your wall. However, you can probably try to use adhesive straps. Just don't hang heavy stuff on it.

How do you get the adhesive squares off the wall when you move?

To ensure the key rack will not fall, we prepared 2 very-sticky adhesive squares for you, and we are not recommended to move them, especially from the whitewashed wall to avoid damaging it. if you have to, you can try to blow it with a blower before tearing it. And it won't damage the wall when you remove it from the ceramic tile.
