I bought this item a year age and it did indeed have the GND lug. Hope this helps.

Q: Is it a proper way to measure swr on ht radios? just put this unit in between ht and antenna ? i was told it breaks the ground and gives wrong results

I believe it does interfere with the ground plane. I have noticed that the positioning of my body, arms and hands as it relates to the positioning of the radio affects the SWR reading. So I'm not sure that you can rely how on the accuracy of the readings. Maybe if you have a base antenna setup at a distance from the radio, then you may have reliable SWR readings.
