I was making pies for my group and messed up the egg whites. Then I remembered I had this.It started out looking a mess. It took more than 5 minutes of beating high speed for it to look like it was going to work. Then it started to really whip. By the 9 minute mark it was wonderful thick sturdy meringue.It baked beautifully and tastes delicious* 2 important notes#1 I used a kitchen aid. Probably much better results than if I used a hand mixer.#2 I didn't realize until the 2nd batch that I had used 3/4 cup instead of 1 cup (didn't even know I have a 3/4 cup scoop). It turned out perfect. I then made a 2nd batch the same with great results. I had just 1/2 cup left and beat it with 1/4 cup water. So if you measure correctly, you'll get 2 batches from the package. But you can get by using less.My only negative is the price. It works out as $5-7+ per pie. Which is quite a bit to add on.I'll try to remember to come back, if there's any left, to let you know how it holds up.

Best royal icing by far. I’ve been using Wilton but I heard good things about this brand so I bought ONE bag to test it out. IMMEDIATELY fell in love from that first batch of icing. So worth it. The taste is amazing too! I didn’t really like the taste of Wilton, it tasted too chemically to me. This has an amazing taste as well. Blew every expectation out of the water and now I’m on my third bag of this stuff!

Love using this to make my royal icing for sugar cookies. It has a sweet, powdery milk smell to it. In a bowl, I add about a cup of it to a bag of powdered sugar and mix in water, vanilla, and karo syrup.It works great.

This is my go to for my gluten free bakery. It is expensive but it is good quality and gluten free. It is easy to use and requires no prep for my royal icing. The consistency depends on how you’re using it but for my icing it’s great. There isn’t a taste really. If you’re flavoring your icing, it’ll be whatever extract you’re using. So, it’s blendable.

By far, my favorite meringue for royal icing. I’ve tried many others and always come back. It whips up nice and also dries nice. Easy to mix, holds it shape and dries nicely. Definitely consistent and always reliable.

Giving three stars because this meringue calls for 1 cup of meringue to a 2lb bag of powder sugar. Other brands I’ve used only requires 5-6TBSP. Taste is great but not a fan of how much you have to use per batch of icing.
