YISEELE Entry Sensor - Window and Door Protection Compatible with YISEELE WiFi Home Security System (YX-700)

I bought this as I needed an extra motion detector for the Yisele alarm system. It connected straight away and is in use.

As an alarm system, it is excellent value for money as it has all the features one would need for protecting the home. It was relatively simple to set up, although I had some difficulty installing the sensors - my fault as I misunderstood the instructions! There are several options when activating the system, including a 24-hour protection for outbuildings etc. The remotes are very neat - the only slight criticism I would have is that the markings for each button are not clear - they need to be coloured so that they are more easily identified.I haven't yet found out how to mute callers on my phone when I need to!

Work well with good range

I was burgled so was looking for a robust alarm system. I had quotes for alarms that were 1000s of pounds but decided to go with this DIY alarm and I am not disappointed. Have ordered several more detectors and all hook up to the same alarm. I'm using to alert me while I'm home if anybody enters and also when we are away. Really easy to use, barely needed instructions. Just need a 2.4 band though so had to split out WiFi signal.

A quick reminder to those who are looking at this: you need to own the Yiselle alarm system first before buying this as this alone does nothing. These are just extra sensors to add to that alarm system.I got these because the ones I had with the Yiselle alarm system were great. You can set them in various modes and have some active and some not when you are at home. These sensors, once set up, detect doors and windows moving and send alerts very quickly as alerts to your phone.One of the biggest things I like about these sensors are the battery life. I have the same sensors in my home for over 2 years and yet they still have plenty of battery life from the coin battery inside. It uses a CR2032 coin battery, and they last ages without needing to change even after 2 years of constant movement. That to me is very impressive because I am used to changing sensor batteries every 6 months when the led stops lighting up. Very reliable and long-life, so highly recommended if you already own the alarm system to link it to.

This alarm system is useless unless you plan to install it in an oversized shed. With a 6m range for sensors and controller, you are limited to size of place you can install this. Then, when you put a wall in the way, that is reduced. Thus, it is a useful as a chocolate fireguard.Steer clear from this piece of junk. I question the many five-star reviews. What is going on there? Not all of them can be living in a shed!Fortunately, I did the range test first, before installing it properly, so it is all going back!
