I love the Dremel tools. I’ve been using an 8220 cordless model for over a year now, mainly for wood carving. Since I’ve managed to sell some of the carvings I’ve made, I decided to invest some of the money back into my tools and try the brushless version.The main things I’ve noticed about this model is that it’s slightly quieter and feels a bit ‘smoother’ and nicer to use. I always use my dremels with a flexshaft but the sound of the motor in this brushless model is nicer than the older model and also the battery life is definitely better. I had to buy a second battery for my 8220 quite quickly but this model is improved enough that it’s not quite so necessary to immediately buy another one! The difference in power is also apparent with this model compared to my other cordless Dremel.So in summary, I’d say this Dremel is a worthy upgrade or amazing addition to anyone’s collection since the power and battery life are both improved and the motor is quieter.

This Dremel out performs any previous Dremel I have owned. The only downside is Its size is a little larger and struggles to fit some of the accessorise. Over all an excellent unit.

It works well. However a bit disappointed on battery usage time. 22 mins for light usage and 11 mins for heavy usage! Durability is yet to be tested. Not too heavy. Fit for many applications.

It is a good rotary tool but i fell like the Bluetooth connection is more of a gimmick than anythingFrom i could notices as of the time of writing this review this is their most powerful battery power Dremel and is comparable to a wired one in most DIY instancesThe tool itself is comfortable to hold though it is more of the thick side and you may want to use it with 2 hands depending on your hand size, i personally am more of a M to L size in glove size as an idea

Sadly my Dremel 3000 had died so needed a new one, Saw this was the latest (At the time of purchase) and my use of the dremel has changed over the years so this was perfect. So far really good, no issues at all and love the new battery and removalable battery design.Size and weight is not an issue.

Previous Dremel was mains powered and for some reason the motor just packed up. Replaced it with this cordless version, which makes a major improvement to usability and versatility. Used it just now to sharpen a lawn edging tool - effortless!

I bought this to replace a Dremel that I lent to one of my son's friends. I never saw it again! This one is a class above, especially in terms of power. I thought the Bluetooth connection was a gimmick, but it is extremely useful. I bought the battery powered 8260 because I mostly use it in my garden shed workshop, and the app is very useful in letting me know when the battery is likely to run out. Overall an extremely useful and versatile tool.
