Q: This knife looks great - is there any reason the blade could not be flipped or reversed for a left-handed baker?

I’m right handed but the knife could be used left or right handed as far as I can tell. I don’t think you can switch the blade. It’s an excellent knife I highly recommend.

Q: How do you get each slice the same thickness?

There is no guide for slice thickness. But, I have found that this cuts the bread so easily that my slices are fairly uniform. I love it.

Q: Can i buy a left handed one?

Two screws hold the blade onto the handle. You can see them in one of the pictures. All you have to do to convert the knife to use it left-handed is unscrew the two screws, flip the handle over, and screw back in the two screws. It takes less than 30 seconds. I've done it.

Q: Purchase replacement blades?

no, the blades are made from band saw blades. if you can find one
