Great looking terrain for my table.
I read some bad reviews about these but love them. They were super easy to put together and look great. I bought more after. I highly recommend for the price.

Great for landing on or serving nachos. Double duty get on sale when needed.
Great for terrain, but even better for serving nachos in. Looks great on the battlefield, but even better in the hand on the couch, flipped over, when eating nachos out of it. Get on sale as needed. For the emperor!

Pragmatic Terrain for 40k
Bought at 60% off MSRP... MSRP being $75 at time of writing this.Terrain wise, this kit makes not very impressive looking terrain, but very practical for playing 40k. Good line of sight blocker and stable vantage point. No wobbly models here.Mechanically, it's a hill.Assembly options: without conversion, the little staircase is your only choice for this kit. Definitely a kit to only buy one of.

Very disappointing
After building the Fronteris Hab-Bunker and Stockades set I had high expectations for the Fronteris Landing Pad set and was very disappointed. While the Hab-Bunker walls fit together with clever dovetail joints and were detailed on both sides, the Landing Pad fits together poorly, and has no interior detail. There are no options in building it, except maybe where you put the staircase. Unlike some older terrain sets like the (now out of print) Cities of Death line, there's no way to connect it to other buildings or terrain. You could use the connectors from the Hab-Bunker to link it to the stockade walls, but it doesn't come with any connectors so you'll have to use extras from the bunker set.Worst of all, for a landing pad there's really nothing that makes it look or feel like one. It's just a box. It could be called a bunker or a barracks or a warehouse and it would make no difference. So yeah, if it's not already obvious I recommend skipping this kit entirely and buying a hab-bunker and wall set instead.

Item was warped and would not assemble well
I'm not sure if this is a review of the kit or a comment on how this was stored before purchase.Frames arrived with warping...which was ok at first but by the time we needed to fit the four corners in...would neat epoxy to hold it straight. So we abandoned it and gave it some battle damage on uits way to the landfillI love games workdhop and have been playing and assembling since 1995. This is about the third kit in that long with that issue. But previously, we just called games workshop and they would replace it...they di not want to do that with a third party vendor lol.
