Works Perfectly
Couldn’t have been easier as long as you have a drill and a vise, one could also use your press to secure the sizing die.

Works.
Had a very stuck case that I tried to get out all sorts of other was because I did not want to wait. Wound up having to wait anyway and this took it right out. Worked perfectly.

Low quality components except for the threaded collar
As others note the drill and tap are low quality, but they do work if you take your time, and since decent drills and taps cost quite a bit then with the kit at this price you already know they aren't going to be the best. For the tap, be careful to turn only a little at a time, a quarter turn or so, and back off to let the chips out until you are all the way through. Be sure to use cutting oil or some other kind of oil you have on hand. Don't just slam the tap all the way without lube and going slow/backing off or the tap will break and your problem will be much worse. My kit didn't even include the allen head cap screw but fortunately I had a 1/4-20 around, so clearly the packing QA isn't great on this kit either.Having said all that: the threaded collar is a fantastic component in this kit, and fits standard die threads. Really makes things a lot easier than some of the DIY videos I have seen. It acts as a drill and tap guide, a screw guide, and allows you to lock down in the press to prevent the die from spinning while you are working, a really big help (and has flat sides to help you loosen or tighten it). To me that one piece is the real value of this kit. You'll almost certainly be replacing the drill/tap/screw if you have to use this kit a lot of times (consider changing case lubes if so), but the threaded collar should last forever. And the small metal tap collar is very workable using the allen wrench as the handle, and should also last.So it's not a perfect kit, but a pretty functional one, doesn't take a lot of space to store, and you can improve it over time with better tap and drill if you have a lot of these stuck cases. I had no trouble removing a stuck 308 case from a small base die with it.

Important to have
I haven't had to use it yet. But it's nice to have on hand. Just in case

easy stuck case removal from a siing die.
Fortunately I've only had to use this kit a couple of times but follow the instructions and they work very well making an otherwise frustrating and miserable job easy to do. I do a lot of reloading. This kit is like a fire extinguisher; hopefully you'll never need it.. You should have it on your loading bench and hopefully you'll never need it but wonderful to have if you do.

Might work might not.
The design is good. I drilled the case with supplies drill bit. It done ok. Put thread cutting oil on tap and case. Started tap. Backing it out and cleaning trash out of threads. It surprised me when backing tap out the tap failed and snapped. It happens no big deal. But consider die to be junk now. I will replace drill bit and tap for better quality better built than kit came with. The rest of kit is great design the small disc fits tap then insert Allen wrench to turn tap. You can't put much pressure on that tap. We are talking brass and tap failed..
