Dosen''t Work/ Forget the Old Review It Does Work!
I waited on pins and needles for this stuff hoping it would help save my morning glories but I waited for nothing. I sprayed the hell out of them. The deer still ate my flowers, even the buds before they had a chance to bloom, left the leaves alone, just the blooms and buds. A waste of $17+! Is there anything out there that really works?Additional Review: After a couple of weeks I've noticed that it's not the deer that's eating the flowers but it's something wrong with the plant, just looses it's blooms after a very short while. Must be that particular species of morning glories. I apologise for the bad review from before. Next time I'll try to practice a little more patience before callling any judgement.

That’s it for YOU guys! 🦌 🦌 🦌
I’ve been gardening for 20 years and have a love/hate relationship with our deer - the bottom line is that my admiration and respect ends where the garden begins. I used Liquid Fence for most of that time but having to climb up a steep hill to spray my plants regularly was wearing me out!( And the smell when I sprayed it chased people away as well as the deer. )I went on a hunt and decided to try Deer Out since it got so many great reviews. Suddenly, I can grow plants I never would have even attempted. Lilies!!Hydrangeas! Things with BUDS! It smells great and works wonderfully but what really amazed me was that it didn’t wash off after heavy rainstorms.Hallelujah! No more running up and down the hill for this girl. ☺️

Really Works
We live in a suburban area but have woods at the end of our road. It seems like lately a roving gang of around 5 deer have been meandering down our street really early in the morning to munch on everyone's shrubs. We have huge euonymous bushes flanking our driveway and, lo and behold, this year when the spring came, it turned out that the deer were eating all of the new foliage off of the shrubs. They couldn't reach the top, so that had leaves, but all of the sides of the shrub were decimated. It looked terrible. I didn't want to use a harsh pesticide, so after some research, I found Deer-Out repellent spray. I wasn't very hopeful, because it was definitely a pretty bad situation and the shrubs were in bad shape. Anyway, I received the product, which was carefully wrapped and shipped, and immediately unwrapped it and went to work. I sprayed all of the shrubs with it, even areas where there were just little stumps of new growth. I covered the leaves that were left and the bare wood as well. Within a few days I saw that it was working. The deer were definitely repelled by the scent and new leaves started to grow. The bottle reminds you to spray again on new growth, which I did, and I am really happy to report that the shrubs look almost normal again! Only a few items to note: the smell is kind of gross (but no big deal), I sprayed when it was kind of windy, and a little got on my arm, which made it itchy for a few hours, and the new leaves have little bits of discolored spots on them. It is very small, like a spattering of much lighter green, than the leaves on the top of the shrub where I didn't spray. To me, all of that is small potatoes, in light of the fact that this spray WORKED LIKE A CHAMP!!!! It really keeps the deer away and saved my 20 year old massive shrubs. I am almost ready to order another bottle. Don't hesitate to buy this, it really did do what it promised.

Don’t buy this from Amazon! They do not store it properly!
I have been using this product for years and for convenience, I started buying it on Amazon instead of a local store. Never again will I buy it from Amazon! Last two bottles were bad and had to be thrown out. The consistency had changed to a more solid substance and clogged the spray mechanism. When I emailed the Deer Out people, they responded that it only happens when storing container in too hot of a temperature. Once it solidifies, it is ruined and can’t be brought back. Since I know my house is within the required temperature range, I have to conclude that it was left in a hot truck or hot warehouse at some point. It is not safe to send back a bad open container, so looks like I am out $32!

Love it and recommend it.
Purchased this 2 years ago, wanted to wait until I've had enough time to properly test the product before writing my review. I just got through my first bottle and will be ordering a 2nd after I finish this review.I got the product to use on some young fruit tree's I planted in the yard, after my first set of tree's were completely destroyed and chewed in half by the deer. Since using the product, my 2nd set of tree's have survived mostly intact, one got a little beat up, but it was my fault as I got lax on reapplying and I swear these deer are like the raptors in Jurassic park always testing for a weakness. For anyone wondering how often you need to reapply the product, I live in the midwest where we get a decent amount of rain, and things seem fine as long as I reapply every 3-4 week. If we get a ton of rain I'll go out after 2 weeks, it's probably overkill, but I'm not making the same mistake twice and the cost of a few sprays is a lot less than replacing a tree.Hope this helps those of you on the fence or checking out multi products and unsure which one to go with.
