The small is a child’s small. That’s what I ordered my 6 year old and it fits her perfectly.

These do run a little small for longer torso's. I'd go with the 5-6 forsure unless your child is very petite, than the 3-4, but could be too short, depending on height and thickness. Better to be a little bigger than two tight. Exchanging is easy too, if u get wrong size.

Loved this leotard for my 5 year old. Has been using it for weeks and many washes later, the colors are still intact. It has a great stretch to it and is thick enough to cover properly. No transparency.
