Pros:Easy to Install, can change plastic cable endings to white from black like I didGreat ability to change color lightning and fans all in one softwareThe Software is very very good, if you have any Corsair RGB and are using their software called “ICUE”, Lian Li’s software is way simpler to navigate, instantly the software loads up, and changing lights happens in seconds with dozens of variations, ICUE or corsairs software is complete garbage, highly recommended Lian Li strimers, but also fans , even going as far as replacing the ones that come on a factory Corsair cooler.Cons:Instructions could be improvedThe Instructions aren’t the easiest to understand, only because the diagrams are very small and mainly they are written in Japanese. You can easily work around this by taking your time and studying everything or just watch a YouTube video and assemble it in 20-30 minutes if you have never done it before.Summary, definitely buy if you love RGB and are looking for a way to glow up your build!

I was very pleased that I didn’t need to use the controller for this to work, it comes with the standard argb cable that you can plug directly to the header on your motherboard. They also include great instructions on what brightness you should set it to in the asus armory crate app and there’s also instructions for gigabyte and msi motherboards as well.As you can see from my photo it looks awesomeAlso was very pleased with how simple it is to flip the connectors around which I did have to do for the locking tabs to be facing the correct direction.Lian li is legit kind of wishing I would have got their fans now but oh well I’m happy with my setup for now

This ribbon I ordered it without knowing that I would need a controller, so order the controller too. Also, it is bright as I’ll get out, so be prepared to figure out a way to make your computer get dimmer at night time if you need to. But if you want a lot of output, this thing is amazing. Oh yeah, it did fall apart on me the second time I tried to flip the direction meaning that if you change course for this cable twice be very careful handling it when you’re flipping it around you have to undo all these clips my motor function isn’t as great as I’d like, and the whole thing fell apart on me, I’m not sure if I was being too rough or if it was the cable being a piece of crap so just bear it in mind

They look good, I have the three 8 pin and motherboard versions. They don't play well with my MSI mother board app. Might just be MSI but I need to use 3 apps to control the different rgb in my system.

Built my first PC and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Strimers are completely unnecessary and add bulk to the cable management but idc I NEEDED them in my build. I’ve helped my husband build a few over the years and we’ve never used these before. I think I converted him to use them next time! It was a pain trying to find the correct cable for the RTX 4070 which took a few trials and errors. That was annoying and made me very impatient lol. I’m surprised at the amount of options there are in the software. Overall ridiculously easy to install just pay attention to which pins you need.
