Nishiki Premium Sushi Rice, 10lbs

I was a little worried to buy this product when other said that the rice was dirty. I have not had that experience. I do wash my rice before using it. But this rice is like any other rice I bought.. I do like the consistency and flavor once it’s cooked. I highly recommend and will continue to buy this product both for the quality and the cost.

California tice supposed to be lower in heavy metals. My family has to have rice with every meal or it's not satisfying. Boil first and rinse out excess water. We grew up on fishing rice so it tastes "normal" to us.

I like the taste, it fits well. I think around a dollar a pound is a good price for it. I've order the 10 pound bag every 2 months or so and I'm pretty happy about it.

I use this rice with my Zojirushi rice cooker, and the results are consistently excellent. The texture comes out sticky and perfect every time. Highly recommend this rice to pair with any meal you're preparing.

I love Japanese sticky / sushi rice although I’m not a big fan of sushi itself. I make a sort of fusion dish I call sushi for beginners (and those of us who find seaweed a bit too…fishy tasting), which is sticky rice, diced avocado & soy sauce (sesame seeds make a great topping as well) and I’ve tried the recipe with about a billion different brands of Japanese rice…this is probably my #1 favorite - and would probably work out well in any number of Japanese rice dishes. The price is incredible for the amount & quality of the product.Highly recommend

Pretty good rice. Smooth, good cooking consistency, tastes good but not incredible. We've cooked 7lb out of a 14lb bag, rice needs more water than other types and slightly longer cool-down period to absorb and stabilize the water.Not great for day-old leftover rice stir frying, breaks apart too easily. But good in pudding.

Great price, delicious sushi rice, has been subscribed for a while, but had two instances of the bag breaking, probably due to rough Amazon delivery. Could they tape both top and bottom? Not just the top.

Nishiki is excellent rice for a good price. Impossible to find California rice in our local stores, and California-grown white is the ONLY rice found to be safe to eat. All other regions produce rice with high levels of arsenic and cadmium. We polished off the 10-lb. bag in about 10 days and now the 15 pounder is on its way.
