Is the battery user replaceable? I have and 18650 charger and it would be nice to know if I can just swap out the battery when I need a fresh charge?

The battery is easy to remove, but they have built in a wiring harness so you can't just slap an 18650 in it. They went out of their way to make sure you'll have to buy a replacement battery from them.

Can you adjust the temp?

No, I switch it on, use it, switch it off. You could switch it off earlier to keep the temp down

What is the difference between this and the weller wlbrk12 model?

Other than the obvious form factor differences the wlbrk12 model doesn't have a charging stand and appears to be larger. Other than that I would assume it would get the job done

This model, bl60mp, does not exist on the weller website. has this been discontinued? i emailed weller and they won't answer me.

I don't know if it's been discontinued but I had issues trying to find other tips.
