Excellent value and workability
Great product that's easy to work with because of its flexibility. It is a true 8-gauge wire with excellent color-coded insulation.I wanted to move the battery for my boat trolling motor ten feet further aft, and I first installed a test piece of ten-foot 1/2 PVC pipe through the ribs along the side gunnel of the boat. The wire was flexible enough that I was able to gently feed it through the PVC without having to remove the pipe, insert the wire, and reinstall everything.I own several boats and riding lawn mowers and will definitely purchase this wire again when needed.

Perfect for 12 volt applications
Perfect for 12 volt applications. I used mine to extend the remote control for an electric winch mounted on my riding mower that I turned into a crane. Thanks to the extra reach of the wire, I can now guide the 75 pound blocks into place while building my 2 retaining walls. The wire is also very durable as it has been in constant use being hung on and off the superstructure and dropped and laid on the ground during this 4 month project, and it still looks new.

Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) speaker wire. Don't use it for much else.
I'll save a lot of new buyers some trouble. This is clearly marked copper-clad aluminum (CCA) cable. It's meant for speakers or other low-power, non-outdoor applications. I use it for a 200W subwoofer on my truck. I run it about 6ft of this from my amp, which sits under my drivers seat, to a subwoofer box under the rear passenger seat. I've been using it over a year and have zero issues. No overheating, no corroding, just doing it's job as intended.DO NOT USE for high power applications or in marine environments. Buy marine rated pure (oxygen free) copper or tinned for that. It will cost more that 2x than this so buckle up. But, it will be the actual gauge it says it is, not melt, and last longer than whatever you put it in. I have marine cable on a 20 year old boat. It still looks new. I also have the fake stuff from a previous owner. It is corroded, brittle, and a nightmare. I have to rip it all out and replace.Pros:Looks goodSoft and pliableWorks (when used in the correct application)CheapCons:CCA (not meant for outdoors or corrosive/wet environments like on a boat)Not exactly 8 gauge. I have 10 gauge marine cable that's almost identical in thickness. But I mean, come on, you can't get 25ft of real copper at 8 gauge for this price. You can get 10 gauge CCA at this price.

Wiring up my truck camper.
Wiring up my truck camper. I needed larger wires to handle connections between my truck an the shell. This product works well with no heat detectable even at full charge. The wire is both flexible and the size I needed.
